duplicate drivers not counting  !!     , there some cases of mid-season car changes like a dude gone from a Mazda Lantis (323F)   to a BMW mid season but   IMO this things could be ignored too

and if you have some time pelase finish up norvegian series




one guy misisng in 1994 season Hidetoshi Mitsusada   in no 20  Lantis  but he DNS at the opening round    so  no shots of him    and I have    suspicions this car  reapered at the final season rounds with no 99  Katsutomo Kaneishi

AFAIK, the Alfa 155 model he used wasn't the TS model (the one used for Super Touring). In fact, he competed in the "Turismos" class instead of the "Superturismos" (Super Touring) class against some BMW M3s and a couple of Ford Escort Cosworths. Both classes raced together that year to compensate for the small number of proper Super Touring entrants in 1994, so there's that.

Giudici's Alfa Romeo may look like a 1993 spec supertourer but it was actually a Group N car. As mentioned by Sinra the 1994 CET also had a lower spec class to boost grids. From 1995 onwards the classes were separated in their respectable championships.

super touring register   say  they allowed Group A  up to 2 liters, so if this was a 2.0L group A techncially it would be eligible to be included

CET folded in 1997 because of lack of entries (only Alfa entered as manufacturer, plus a couple of private Alfas, Primeras and a BMW). It was merged with the Catalonian Touring Car Championship that year and two meetings were held. I'm not sure how the Catalonian Touring Car Championship rules were regarding eligible cars: the ones that competed in the combined championship were several BMW M3s, plus a single Citroen ZX and a Renault 5. Probably Group A cars if Super Touring Register is right.

CET 1997 was ran with 7 ST cars and the rest were 2 litre Group A cars very similar in performance(except from the Nordauto Alfas). The same pattern was used in the Swiss series. The m3s will join the grid at some point.

Fortunately the Spanish series is very well documented. From 1997 i'm only missing one car but i will have a look at the footage.
My biggest nightmares now are 3 series.
Italian series(finding logos for the cars)
French series(finding missing photos)
Swiss series(sorting out entries for 1999-2001 and of course find photos)

according to wiki there were 5  E30

-  6 Francesc Gutiérrez    round 1 only
- 11 Josep Bassas
- 12 Antonio Ribalta
- 14  José M. Romero    round 1  only
- 15 Joaquín Viaplana

plus that Citoren ZX and the Renault 5 Turbo ,  my bet is this 2 were nothing more than Rally kit cars  set up for tarmac

the ZX could ahve been one of those ZX cup cars they also held there but with a Gr. A rally engine fitted

I have a photo of the ZX, the m3 i'm missing is Jose M.Romero. He drove for the Escuderia K.M.C. team.

maybe it was an entry list only   that didn't materializa on track

like the Mazda 323  in BTCC 1995   or all those NATCC  entry list   only
