found a picture of the 1993 Campeonato de España de Turismos with two Alfa 155.

Nice photo! Although while they may look like early ST cars, these alfas were in fact Group A cars. Supertouring cars made their debut in the Spanish series from 1994 onwards.

they do look pretty spot on to the DTM 93 Alfas, same bodykit

a missing guest entry for CET 1996

Mauice Perus in the Vectra  GT   ,  same livery as his regular 96 french one  so super easy to add

problem is his no 101  is also used a by a BMW in another race

in what was last publickly released only no 5 and 6 are included

there is a  no 14 but that is a duplicate

That car is a DTM spec, that driver, Charles Kwan said it in this interview (at 17:50)

I don't know Spanish sadly but i have some magazine scans indicating that the car was a Group A Alfa 155 Q4 so 4wd and had 260bhp weighing in at 1120 kg and running dunlop tyres.

twechnicallly  if it was Gr. A  with a 2.0L engine it would be early  super tourer  and 260 bhp sounds abour right for an early super tourer

now even so  it would be worth doing this Alfa skins only if those hoards of M3 (e30) were also a 2.0 L otherwise they would be alone  ,  the orange/yellow/ red one looks realy nice

4:02 The commentator is saying that the Alfa was first entered in the Spanish Touring Car Championship during the Alcañiz round of the 1992 season, and Villamil had overheating issues during that race. Later, he says that this Alfa in particular is a 4WD evo version exclusive for the Spanish Championship. Due to this, the drivers have had some problems getting used to the car.

14:05 Here the commentator merely talks about certain corners and how the drivers use the entire width of the track (he literally says "even using the barriers") due to the nature of this street circuit.

36:40 Still talking about the circuit and its dangers. Then he mentions the Opel Calibra alongside the Alfa. Both Alfas are currently in 7th and 8th position in the qualifying session and there are two minutes to go.

Have PM'd you... this mod is within next few weeks going to be obsolete and new version with more genstring opions, better visuals and physics will be out...

Whilst this topic will be obsolete when the mod is realised, suppose i'll pop this here.

First gameplay from FRM Touring Cars mod. BTCC 2011 (WIP) by Jsmee with a 33 car BTCC 2011 set. This will not be included at initial mod launch and is still WIP. Snetterton 2011 is heavily updated with lighting, AIW, trackside objects.

Race ended for me a little earlier than I thought, an error at Nelson put me wide and contact from behind broke a toe link. These things are sensitive to hits on the wheel and it's a fine balancing act to get right, both in physics development and driving.

Captured with OBS, edited with OpenShot, gameplay on an X1 controller.

Release planned for January 2021 with the FRM Super Touring pack.

Mod will be available from the FRM website (WIP), and selected other forums.

I know he is in the Geoff Steel BMW    but  that SEAT  looks a lot better and you can still have that BMW by putting Tony Gilham in it

there was also the NGTC Insginia  with BATMAN livery at the final meeting  but it didn't actualy start the race,  TOCA just allowed them to do the formation lap and then come to pits  as they were too far off the pace and has some mechanical issues

I was fighting the Insignia in the video if you watched it... and I didn't bother showing off the alternates..

2011    had so many driver permutations   that it makes it hard to do a generic full grid without duplicates  

what I mean

Gilham:    888 > Geoff Steel    (in addition the Geoff Steel BMW had a TOCA turbo engine at last round)
Nesham:   Geoff Steel > Special Tuning
Onslow Cole:   AMD  > Arena    

in addition you had some entries like AMD Golf,   2nd  888 Vectra  with multiple driver changes

Filter structure is as follows:


Full Season
Extra (part time/1-off entries)
Alt.1 (same as full time but with an alternate car, EG Newsham SEAT instead BMW)
Alt.2 (see above)

Something new sneaked in the video I posted earlier: our own Audi A4 NGTC.

Origin of model TH, used with permission from the guys there and subsequently given some NGTC treatment by SImon. Not 100% accurate but confidently saying this is the closest we have barring an actual scratch made 1-1 model.

Nicknamed as such after the original build being so bad, the Pinkney car 100kg overweight and the Ric Wood engine almost 100hp down..

I'll say about BTCC *every* entry is counted, even got Team 48 Alfa Romeo's in.
