regarding the STW   95 season a small physics detail   for the Avus round    

the comemntator mentions that Nissan got an engine from Japan  for Keith O'dor   which was much more potent  that the regular one   , this does explain why it suddently could get a win

so in essence that win  in sprint race and the route for podium for main race ....    was a fluke  , not with their regular specs

speaking of BMW     in STW 94  it's very easy to mess them up as it's complicated switch arounds with duplicates  /  guest entries

N24 / VLN set is set at approx 40 ST cars at moment, for a 102 car set as well

Grid 1 (P1-34) is as it was.

Grids 2 & 3 rather than being at each sector, so literally a third of a lap apart, are now about 20 seconds apart, so the first cars of the next group are usually crossing the line as the leader leaves the first corner. Helps with AI speed and also CPU loads!

Marshals have been replanted around the track and have a little bit of backlighting so they can be seen at night in the gloom.

You may notice less in the way of some lighting effects such as lighting "flares" - aiming at putting that graphical power with some other tricks. I just need to remember how to plant trackside objects again, not done it for three years ahaha.

means BTCC , STCC ,  ETCC  ( plus WTCC)   up to 2010 could be done    

2006-2009 BTCC  was an absolute awesome era in touring car racing,  big grids, big diversity  ,  star drivers,     intense action,  stil watch those races and season reviews  fondly

Actually, even further than that. The last S2000 cars used in BTCC was 2013. And WTCC could go up to 2014 with the inclusion of the TC2 cars (1.6T S2000 spec).

yes     but 2009 was the last great S2000  season as the financial crisis      hit the BTCC  and  then the whole balancing issue with turbo engines starting from 2010  

WTCC was good until 2007   , from the 2008  onwards the SEAT  Leon TDI controversy came, grid numbers drooped and privateers couldn't really compete with works teams anymore

Yeah it did sometimes get a bit dull with the Chevy trio destroying everyone, but it was cool to see Tarquini and Coronel show them up now and again

would be nice if we could get one day the german series from 2004-05 as well as they had s2000 and btc cars just like the asian series from 2004-05.

Did the German series have the Merc C200 S2000? I know a couple raced in Sweden, they're quite interesting as they were RWD if I'm not mistaken

sorry if this was asked before, but i couldnt find anything about it.

while converteing vhs tapes to dvd i noticed during the 2000 Euro STC season review that a white and yellow Opel Vectra was racing at the A1 Ring and Monza. #20 driven by Gianluca Roda who entered a different Vectra for the remainig rounds with the  Warsteiner livery from Holzer ran in the STW 1999.

was this skin made yet or could it be added as alternative skin?

It was an alternate skin indeed. I don't intend on adding it though and here's why. I make alternate entries cause it can help people who run championships to modify the grid so the alternate skin pops up in the correct round(don't know how that can be done though). The criteria for me to make an alternate livery is this:
1) it must be a different model and or make(for example a driver that drove a 318is but ran a 320i for one round won't be one, a driver that say ran a Nissan Primera but for a couple of rounds drove a Ford Mondeo will be done)
This means that in this case i will only keep the Warsteiner Vectra for Gianluca Roda. Reason i'm doing alternates this way is because if i did every single alternate skin....well that would be eternity and the mod would way bigger than it needs to be imo.
I have plans to rework the ESTC series just like the other series but i'm currently working on the FIA GT 1999 project.

There are 2 ways to get an alternate skin to turn up at the right round. You can either, put the loose skin files in the track folder so that when you race there the car will switch skins provided it's on the same car and uses the same number. Or you can create another CAR file for it. But in the classes file you add the 2ndCar attribute (look at the default JMB 550 for an example of this.) as well as the races you want that particular car to appear at.

probably in the first category are the 1995 STW Primera of Ivan Capelli,     the first 2 rounds  they used the normal FWD  before they switched the failed 4WD

found a video from 1996 at Zeltweg. could this be the Slovenian Championship?

#151 is Martin Črtalič, #150 should be Misel Zupančič

I think it is the 1996 CEZ series. But the numbers on Crtalic and Zupancic's cars are from the Slovenian series so you may be right! Thank you so much for this video!!!

Hi, I've finally got around to starting the BTCC seasons for this, had to correct some graphics file references in the .car files for some cavaliers and peugeots for 1990-95 first. I've noticed the championship folders don't sort for race by race entries.

For example at the start of the 1990 season there are 3 #70 cavaliers. I think this is either the "IgnoreTrackFilters" line in the championship file and the lack of specific track classes in each .car file or the lack of these lines -

2ndVEHFile="GAMEDATA\TEAMS\GT\FERRARI 575 TEAMS\JMB575\03009_GT_F575.car"
This is the line for the vanilla JMB Ferrari 550 that changes model and livery at Estoril. I'm guessing these lines can be used for entries that change, like the 3 #70 cavaliers. I'm also guessing that the "IgnoreTrackFilters" entry is useful for partial season entries like Nigel Mansells Mondeo in 1998.

I'm not asking for an update to the mod, but some instructions on what to do to my local version, maybe a reference to a source for entry lists for partial entries etc would be great, I'd love to have partial entries and livery/model changes as part of the championships. I know livery changes are more relevant in the late 90s like the Vauxhall Factory Team livery change in 1998 or so, so it'd be great to get this sorted if possible before I get my teeth into the decade of seasons properly.

As a note, I'm not sure if you made the championship files as part of this resource, but wherever they're from it's definitely on this site.
