Thank you
This is the best mod I've ever seen / played. Wow. Outstanding work mate, really. I can't thank you enough for what you've done - it's just... Amazing. It really is. Thanks again

Don't know, but very typical german engineering: it has to work, don't care about the details

The simplicity of the german engineering is astonishing!

List of the overhauled cockpits for cars in the next version plus more details. Above pic was the Audi 80 quattro.
-Addition of PROCAR 2001
-New final physics build. Car oversteers easily on cold tyres before going to a more neutral phase when they warm up.
-Adjusted cockpits for the following. Cars also have completely new GTR files and genstrings so file size is reduced a fair bit.
Audi 80 quattro
Audi A4
BMW E34
BMW E36
Chrysler Stratus
Ford Mondeo Mk1
Ford Mondeo Mk2
Honda Accord Mk5
Honda Accord Mk6
Nissan Primera P10
Nissan Primera P11
Nissan Primera P11 FL
Opel Astra GSi
Peugeot 405
Peugeot 406
Renault Laguna
Toyota Carina E
Vauxhall Cavalier
Vauxhall Vectra
Volvo S40
Interiors include new switches dashes, MOTEC and customisation all through genstring as well as new LHD RHD versions where appropriate.
Mondeo, A4, and E36 physics scratch rebuilt.
Plus the addition of the Volkswagen Golf Mk2!

BRAND NEW FOR 2020 - THE "NORDSCHLEIFE" EXPANSION!
The first part of the upcoming NORDSCHLEIFE expansion for SUPER TOURING: EVOLUTION! The first 34 cars pictured here in a WIP set that will include 100 skins from the 1993-2010 N24 and VLN, new models to the mod, and a special tweaked version of the EEC Nordschleife with 12 different classes for 100 car grids.
Release will be 2020. A total of 60 cars have been done, in this project that started early this year. Worth nothing this is "Grid 1" so only the top 34 cars...
Skins by, Markano97, Suti , & mad16 ...

There were no super touring spec BMW E30's at all.
Diesel BMW is slow, it'll barely be top 40, but 4hrs on fuel will help it provided it keeps its nose clean.

Re: SUPER TOURING: EVOLUTION by FRM - V1.03b 4th September 2019
So a long read ahead on what's in progress, but also the reason why things have been quiet.
Firstly I speak for the whole team in saying the December-January period has been incredibly busy personally for everybody involved in the mod, and we'll be looking at picking up the pace again very soon.
Mod wise... New update / version will be available in two different DLs around March. A HUGE amount of changes will I will try to summarise as simply as I can below:
- New TYR (tire) model - part 1!
An evolution of Simon's tyres, with recalculated base values so the tyre accurately reflects a Super Touring tyre rather than merely being a tweaked S2000 tyre.
- New TYR (tire) model - part 2!
Adjustments in grip levels for tyres, as current ones are slightly too quick (at least on the AI side). Specific tyres for cars with no aero, slowing them up a full two to three seconds a lap. Also being investigated is potential for small tweaks in tyres for differing grip levels between cars.
- Physics tweaks.
Firstly, I am very happy with the current physics model. The emphasis on the new model is enhancing the driving experience, not redoing it. A little more front spring on some cars, aiding turn in. Some small setup adjustments.
- Overhauled engines.
Engine files have been all redone so they are accurate reliability wise depending on the event. Standard engines are set to a life expectancy of one hour. Bathurst 7 hours, Spa 24 hours, and so on. However the engines are different in reliability (and the engine reliability line also influences the general mechanical failure rate of the car) and so you'll find earlier AI cars may be more prone to breakdowns, and that independent entries are also more likely to breakdown.
- New physics structures
Leading on from above, no more generic endurance physics, instead unique files depending on race length. Mondeo Mk1 has been completely reworked.
- New look
Overhauled cockpits and interior improvements to the Ford Mondeo(s), Peugeots, Honda, BMW E36, Carina E, Volvos, Audis, and many more. Also an updated Chrysler Stratus model, and multiple new cars coming, from the Golf Mk II to... Well keep watching
Looking forward to sharing more with you all very soon.

let me guess , this Golf 2 which raced at various Spa 24 hours  even if they were absolutly no match for the super tourers Â
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
except the Nordic Cup cars  in STCC 1996 - 1997    the closest instance  of non-super tourers racing  at same speed  as them were the so called "Future Touring" in Australia 2000-2002    but this big australia sedans were still 3 seconds slower on a short track  barelly over 1 min 10 sec Â

wtf mod
BTCC 1990 first race Oulton Park, i am starting from the fields and the pit out shows go right when the way is to the left and then another left.....
cars do sliding drift - i can blame myself if i am doing something stupid but the AI are also doing flat spins every now and then and stuck in the middle of the road....

1994 Championship - there doesn't appear to be a filter for the Oulton Park round as the Alfa's are in that event. I checked the files for the cars for that season & the track files & there's no match there.

GTR2 will point the cars out so they follow the racing line - so with Oulton being a clockwise track with pit on right, it will always point left.
More detail on the other please?

Some seasons visit certain tracks more than once, hence early season and late season versions. This way for championships and single races it doesn't repeat itself and conflict with other tracks.gg62136 wrote:Hello.
