The main reason is for AI filters in championship mode, for example it ensured that in 1998 Nigel Mansell appears at the 2nd visit to Brands Hatch but not the first. A number drivers that appeared at only a handful of rounds shouldn't appear all season. It only works accurately if you are racing a car that did the full season, otherwise it misses another driver out.

It's a great idea to have them as it adds to the realism, they worked in season '94 & '98 etc in the original mod but not now with Oulton Park '94 for example, as there are about 3 OP folders the mod has had i can't tell which it uses now to alter the filter manually to get it working. Hi guys amazing job with this mod, I'm currently working my way through a custom '95 season racing with Volvo.
Only issue is that the BMWs seem particularly slow in AI form, they seem to be 3-5 seconds down depending on the track, and always among the first to get lapped.
I noticed they seem to struggle with the kerbs, so is there any AI setting that would possibly help with this?

A huge thanks for this mod, having so much fun with some of the classic Australian skins.
I have noticed that both of the ShaderPacks seem to impart a very shiny and reflective look
to most of the cars. IMHO it seems a bit unreal and "plastic" looking. Is there any way I can
tone down this effect or do they have to be completely reworked. I've tried replacing them
with other packs but to no avail.

Hi all, hope everyone is well. Having an intermittant CTD with the Volvo 850 Estate and can't seem
to figure it out. Looked at mismatched files in HDC etc tried reloading it but all to no avail. Any help

Hello guys,
how have you guys set up your ai for this great mod to have the best offline races? Because from the past i know there was a lot of problems setting up the ai, because of some bugs the original ai in GTR2 had.
For example there is the slow down bug, which has to do with the aeromin values in the damage files (they should be up to 100.000 -150.000 for each aeromin/detach files of each car.
And whats with the .PLR file? Whats your AI settings there? Maybe anyone could upload his .PLR file based on this touring cars mod?

PS: Here are my very old .PLR settings (especially for setting up the ai). Maybe some of you have a look on it:

becasue Mitsubishi decided to focus on the rally scene with works cars

how is it possible to continue to follow this outstanding mod and to get an executable download.
I changed my hardware and couldn't install super-touring cars anymore.
Furthermore, I do not receive a meaningful answer to my PM request from GTP_furinkazen.

After a lot of single races with this mod i played a full season, the 1994 BTCC with the Volvo 850 Estate and was great in all aspects. Nice job from the modders.
I want to play a full JTCC season but both Sendai Hi-Land and Tokachi International tracks are not available nowhere. Anyone have those missing tracks?
