Assetto does have a really nice version but as is with all Assetto tracks, none are available.
This was one of the reasons I tried to recreate the 9 Hour version to the best of my ability using the 2014 track as a base.
This is also the first time that I've tried to make several buildings from scratch, have had some good practice so the time was right.
A year or two ago there was no way I could achieve what I did with the track now.
It's not perfect but looks really nice on track and I have always liked tracks with elevation, good scenery and fast flowing corners.

If I were to to change the texture then all doors would be open, only way to change this is by making a new 3D model for the pit building.

You did a great work, as always, of course it cannot be perfect but it is very enjoyable ! Your updates give to these "old" rfactor tracks a new life Thanks a lot, especially since you do not have much time for it !

Here are some more new textures for Kyalami.
Update details v1.3:
- New tree's, palm tree s, tree lines, tree walls, and reworked bushes for the entire track.
- New texture for one of the smaller factory buildings
- Fixed gravel edges distortion
- New RGB fog color

There are many flickering textures, and many semitransparent and throughshining trees in the foregrund.

I'm assuming it's the Kyalami track you are talking about.
Have tried the same download for about 30 minutes on max settings and high and looked at every tree or bush I could get close to and all looks normal on my side. I also have zero flickering.
If you could be more specific or send me screens so I can see what I'm looking at because I honestly cannot see anything.

Had a look at the vids you sent me, would have noticed the trees straight away if it was happening on my side.
With a lot of tracks I add little opacity to soften the trees, this could be the only reason that I could think the cause would be.
Add these trees to the track folder, hopefully this would solve your problem, there are some safety vehicle textures too, add them with the trees.

Thanks again for your support. My problem is finally solved now. No idea what it was. Reinstalled AMS and completely rebuilt and configured everything - all right. Now it's working. Transfered installation folder to the other network computers -> now it works there as well.
Something like that can make you really crazy!

Short info if you use a nvidia card:
In the past with an older nvidia GTX770, i need to use this nvidia toool (tiny exe only)
with setting "4x supersampling everywhere". At least for AMS, GTR2 and RF1.
In my case it avoid texture flickering a lot, especially on older machines.

Found this conversion on the net by Team Tchacha or at least he uploaded it.
Update details v1.1:
- Reworked all track safety walls and added texture to them
- New Willow Springs white wall at the top of the track
- All buildings reworked
- Track side corner numbers and green barrels reworked
- All small track objects reworked
- New trees
- Add little texture to inland dds
- Add texture to all distance hills or mountains
- Michelin balloon added
- Changed heli skin
- Changed Team Tchacha log to Budweiser (Zepplin air ballon)
- All logo and banners reworked
- Fix pit box

Wow, the improvements are amazing!
Any chance the z-fighting/flickering in the big green Willow Springs sign can be fixed? It also affects a couple of the other trackside adverts (no surprise on such a vast open area type of track with long lie of sight distances.
Also, one tiny thing--the track map is missing from the track selection menu. I am pretty sure it was there in the first update, but I might be mistaken.
I would be more motivated to do an AIW edit/update for you if the worst aspect of it wasn't fixed. The too-short pit exit blend line--cannot be fixed without doing a completely new AIW. The rest of the racing can be tweaked, so people here let me know if this is something you care about!

Simple--more cars are allowed than there are pit spots. CLimaxF1 can fix that easily--it's one line missing in the GDB file.
Max Vehicles=20
There is room for many more cars, but whoever did the AI picked only 20.

Can you create a new AIW from scratch using rFactor tools? If so, ping me and we can chat offline about what needs to be addressed.
