I would be more motivated to do an AIW edit/update for you if the worst aspect of it wasn't fixed.  The too-short pit exit blend line--cannot be fixed without doing a completely new AIW.  The rest of the racing can be tweaked, so people here let me know if this is something you care about!

Will have a look at what else can be done, just finished the textures.

There was no track map, same original one from download.

If you could tweak the AI that would be great, some corners I'm either damn fast Smile or the AI should be better.

So easy... reducing ai worked!

In the first version, there was a "BigWillowmini.tga" - that was filling this "black hole" in the location setting.

That was the solution that worked for me.

I once used rfactorrools to convert tracks and cars from GSCE. No idea how to make a new AI with that. Sorry.

So, we won't get the new AIW that we need with a proper pit exit line and 40 or so AI instead of 20 Sad

I can fix a few basics including the calibration of the AI speed if they are too slow. No promise how quickly I will get to it though!

I started working on the AIW of Willow Springs. Here is a video of the progress so far:

Only changed the racing line, still need to improved the corridors (lots of cars going into the dirt)

Original project is 99% abandoned, as you say, it was too bad to work with. I tried to convert a newer version (With the updated chicane section), but again, it's almost abandoned, this time because of my lack of time to work on it.

But hey, everything it's not over, if you want to do something with the new version, PM me, I think we can still do something to release the track Very Happy

I've made some progress on willow springs, increased capacity to 32 cars and added the corresponding pits and garages. I tried to re-create the pit path without redoing the aiw from scratch but it didn't work; so i will make the best i can with the short pit exit that we have. Still need to do the corridors but is getting better. This is a short race (3 laps) with 32 cars as preview of the current status.

The pit entry needs some extra work (they start braking on the racing line before getting out of the way of other cars) but the pit exit is improved. There were some waypoints behind the pits that weren't used, so i moved them to extend the pit exit.

Because of the placement of the garages i recomend you change the following in BigWillow.gdb:
GarageDepth = 1.0
