BTW it turns out the 1992 Italian series had some Super Tourer entries

entry list, the E30 M3   had 2.0 L engines, so same as BTCC  , Peugeot 405 all 3 looked the same

first batch   Peugeots could be done very accurate . private BMW much harder...    the BMW striped one with yelow bumper is no 59  , black/ yellow is no 68

59 was by far the most competitve M3 , the sponsorless striped M3 looks to be Massimo Pigoli but no idea on his race number , maybe 64 ?

I tried to make the 1991-1992 CIVT but too little material to work with....maybe one day but can't confirm it.

speaking of E36   the old BTCC 93-94   mod for F1C  did have the coupe but guess model is too old to be useful ?

The model is simply too old to be used....personally i don't really mind having the four door instead of the actual 2 door.

I like the coupe but im fine with the 4 door because it would take some work to turn it into a 2 door plus the template would perhaps be affected. Personally i don't know 3d stuff so i can't do this so unless someone is willing to do that im fine with the 4 door version. BTW really like that movie. Very Happy

hmm  indeed, just the rear spoiler removed, front bumper is different  but that happens with regular early ST

from what i remember one of this coupes appearead in STCC 96 with a 95 spec rear wing ( no 76  Torbjörn Sällfors)    

and at least one in 94 japan series

There is also a body without a spoiler in the mod, so no need to worry about removing it. However, one Coupe ended up in Australia and had 1995 aero.

The picture of the Taisan car isn't from JTCC. It only ran as #26 at the final round at Fuji and was definitely a 4-door ( [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ). In fact, that photo is from the 1993 N1 race at Sugo.

Audi looking bit better now.

Testing new shaders for the cars. Note the sunlight reflecting off the car and less of a flat look to the paint.

Also new damage file reworkings - in 3.0 each car will have a unique .dmg

So been exploring different ways of getting new interior colours and mapping and how to trigger it in-game. Initially tested new genstring numbers and file renaming on the BMW and the Alfa 155. However decided the easier option is to create a new CAS file.

For example, the Audi's all have black window nets from "Audi A4.cas". CIVT 95/96 entries have red window nets. So for those cars they'll use a "Audi A4CIVT.cas" that will have a tweaked cockpit already included.

Because DTM didn't followed the Supertouring spec homologations, only the Supertourenwagen did Smile

Audi did experiment with Class 1 version of their Audi 80 , rumor is that Mercedes may have actually build a super tourer version of the C-Klasse but no photo showed up to coraborate that story

Great review, but you miss some cars.  Example the Class2 Opel Astra-s and Alfa 155 from 1993. The WS-DHL-Dealer-Team BMW e36.
The Linder BMW E36 run in 1993 too.  (One of these cars run here in Hungary from 1995-2001. After that, it appeared in late 2015 on a test, and run in 2016 in our only 1 hill climb race. We found the info, that from 2002 to 2015 it is in a hungarian garage. Now it was sold a foreign car collector. Sad

Just a couple of bugs I've noticed so far.

The BMW E30 sits a bit too low in the showroom so looks as if it has flat tyres.

I can't remember the team but the first year in the BTCC the Renault 19 raced with a yellow colour scheme, the O/S/R-drivers rear wheel expro is sat to far forward in the showroom, just that set of wheels that relates too

Sticking with BTCC two Vauxhall Cavaliers have the wrong .HDC file assigned so rear wing can't be adjusted, one from 96 and one from 97, both the same team, they have been assigned the 93_Indi .hdc

Something that did concern me was the lack of spring rate adjustment on the cars

The BTCC production class is a little vague in the physics department with all models sharing the same .eng .sp ect, also I would say the production .eng file is over powered at 270bhp although tbh I'm finding info on that difficult to find, I've been doing work on the production cars the past few weeks with individual .eng files with roughly 210bhp as that was roughly what the .eng was set to originally, the .eng files I've made are based on the WTCC 2.0 files from relative manufacturers with varying rpm limits such as the Integra revving close to 9000rpm for instance, currently I'm tweeking the .hdc files

Maybe that might be something of interest to you for your mod
