The bar in the door is already white, just the FOV doesn't show it well.

Major works in progress on everything else, having to change 565 BMW E36's by hand right now...

Because DTM didn't followed the Supertouring spec homologations, only the Supertourenwagen did

Technically, the "Class II" for DTM 1993 is included in this mod as it was a one-off for that season to include ST cars in the series, even though it was mostly Astras, a few 155s, a Cavalier and a couple of 318s. What isn't available anywhere though, is an actual DTM 1993 "Class I" carset. The DTM Classics mod only has 1990-1991-1992, then 1994 and 1995 are available as separate mods, then again a complete ITC 1996 carset isn't available either.

The DTM classics mod does have some missing entries i believe aswell as missing car models like the Opel Omega and the Ford Mustang. Sadly the 1990's DTM hasn't really been given the love it deserves but hopefully one day such a thing will be made.

Never heard of a 1995 DTM mod... I have a 1994 (an old mod), but no 1995. Would you care to give more info? Thank you!

the story  is  that DTM in about  1991-1992 started to think about replacing Group A   with different rules and in the meantime Class 1 and Class 2 were conceived

BMW  wanted Class 2  , Audi was more or less forced  into Class 2 after leaving mid-season of 1992    , Mercedes wanted Class 1  and Opel also Class 1

so half the DTM  manufacturers   left the series at end of 1992  and so the STW Cup was created for class 2 super tourers in 1994  , Audi in the meantime gather experience in the 1993 french series as preparations for STW with their Audi 80 super tourer, BMW gather expereince in other series like BTCC with their E36 super tourer


the oddity are Opel and Alfa Romeo ,  did they both embraced both rule set   but Germany they only raced Class 1     while in other countries Class 2 , of course after 1996 when DTM was axed  they both switched to Class 2 STW ....      

Mercedes meanwhile never bothered with Class 2  , they switched to FIA GT / Le Mans  once DTM was dead

Audi did experiment with Class 1 version of their Audi 80 , rumor is that Mercedes may have actually build a super tourer version of the C-Klasse but no photo showed up to coraborate that story

actually DTM wanted to have an  class 1 only field 1993. but after audi withdrew in 1992 and bmw decided not to  built a class 1 car as they were unhappy that itr wanted to add performance weights. mercedes stopped their work on the class 1 c class and opel delayed their entry to the end of the season.

thankfully alfa romeo joined the dtm otherwise it would have only the works mercedes and the independent entries, at the end they added Class 2 to improve the grid size as they were unsure how many entries they would have for 1993. class 2 was never a full option for dtm.

at some point in  the winter of 1992/93 mercedes actually considered buildng a class 2 car. you can read  about it in tourenwagen story 1993.

a reason why DTM never wanted Class 2 was that they were actually slower than the existing Group A

see 1993 Zolder PROCAR race ,    (some truly awesome liveries BTW)

this Audi V8,  BMW  M3 Sport Evo and 190 Evo 2 were about 4 to 5 seconds faster than this early Super tourers

V2.23 undergoing final testing before release by end of this week. ONLY physics adjustments.

that just happens to be the most common car in the entire mod....

BTW it turns out the 1992 Italian series had some Super Tourer entries

entry list, the E30 M3   had 2.0 L engines, so same as BTCC , Peugeot 405 all 3 looked the same
