GRID Mod 6.0 / 5.X and GRID GT

Hmm currently the only LM13 skins completed by IMT are the Audis. I've literally only just seen them so I don't know if they use the 2013 spec R18 on this site. I found them in the "Grid Skins" folder. Link: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

As far as I'm aware, they are probably doing protos first, their Facebook page shows the Rebellion, Strakka and the three P2 Zyteks in progress. But yeah there are skins/cars coming.

Has the updated Lola been released in the sections joe public can't see? I ask as the rear wing on the Rebellion is sorta hanging in mid air, rather than actually being connected to the upright.

One thing always bothered me is how he can claim he did the Lotus T128 after he merged the Acura ARX front part, the Lola Coupè cockpit and a random spoiler in the back..

He did this really? . It's a winner.
He do nearly the same for the Pescarolo 01, which is a merging of the JPBS C60 and the ARX02-a with 3d updates XD.

But maybe theses cars are what he spell "Hybrid"

Well, Peugeot did the same for Pikes Peak with their car. Take parts from the 908 LMP and an engine from F1

cant say something bad about this, when it's working, the car is close to the real one and u do a new template then why not? better than having on car ;-)

It's not always good to merge parts that are not designed originally to work together.

The 208 engine, is not the F1 Peugeot engine, it's the V6 turbo Sodemo used by Pescarolo from 2000 to 2003, updated for sure, but the engine is the same.

Honestly I think those are stupid skins.. 2012 is different from 2013, how can you race with LM13 skins on a 2012 car? I can understand when body changes are small or not so drastic, but the wront and the rear changed completely..

the zytek lm13 skins are also based on a lm12 car

  as far i know the lotus T128 in WIP is just the aless r18 with some different detail, i've never seen any pics of this arx+lola you are talkin about.
About 2013 ts030 i know that the authors of the 2012 ts030 (the scratch model not the google sketch one) are working on it, but as said being a scratch model you should consider that a reasonable time will be required to do it. Same can be said about the 2013 LM zytek, that in theory has not the highest priority being a car that surely won't be used anymore during the season.

I know that requires time, I'm not in the gimmiegimmie mode, I just said that is "useless" to do a skin for an inaccurate model when the 3D changes between a year and another are too many or too evident like on the Toyota. Zytek is very similar (?) to the older one and it's not a big problem. Audi R18 too for example, the long tail is almost the same as 2012, only the rear part changed and 2013 skins can fit without big problems on the older spec model..

That's my opinion of course, the 2013 LM skins on the 2012 Toyota are nice, I downloaded and use them without problems in rF, but if the original authors are updating it to 2013 specs then it's good to know and looking forward.. Are there any pics available or a site where to follow the progress or they're affiliated somehow with the dictator so that we can't see nothing until the release?

is not about gimmegimme, the sim community always used to make "sacrificies" using older cars because the absence of more recent cars. For years has been used the old c60 mod to simulate the presence of pescarolo's cars in the grid, just to make an example. About toyota right now, there isn't nothing more recent than the 2012 ts030, so the choice is A: use the 2012 ts030 for the 2013 season B: wait the 2013 model to start the 2013 season.

There are LM 2013 skin in it, don't know if the car has been changed

for what I saw they just add 2013 cars and I dont see any others change apart the the 2013 addons cars....... I guess its the same , if not correct me
