Dakota year 2100 version...when they have palm trees!
Great conversion! I am not familiar with this track or where it comes from. Fantasy oval and road course that is interesting nevertheless!
Also, if you need track minimaps for the earlier releases (and hopefully some more future ones), you could re-purpose some from here:

There was a similar track in "Need4Speed Shift" ... ;-)
Great work, as always! Thanks.

Oh yeah...has been off my hard drive for so long I forgot about it! There are several track gems in that title that I hope ClimaxF1 gives some attention to Tracks that we don't already have.

Nürburgring Nordschleife Touristenfahrten AMS
Hi Guys
If you ever want to do a texture update for a track there are two things that you should try to avoid, a track that has lots of trees and Nordschleife.
I was originally only going to upload a texture update for this track but since there are already several of the same uploaded here I decided to upload my texture update as a whole to create less confusion.
All credits to Com8 for the track and Patrick Giranthon for his conversion to Stock Car Extreme.
Update details:
Bare in mind that this track is oldish so one is very limited to what one can do with a texture update without rebuilding or replacing objects.
- AMS random clouds and atmosphere added
- New rgb/lighting & fog settings
- Reworked all trees
- Removed bad trees (textures) and replaced them with better one's
- Reworked all tree walls
- Reworked all bushes
- Replaced landscape scenery texture with a better upscaled one
- Reworked all grass textures
- Made new textures for the ticket office
- New textures for the main grandstand (BMW)
- Adjusted rumble strips
- Changed some of the banners, the rest have being reworked or optimized
- Loading screen added
- Reworked several smaller textures here and there

Wow mate, that was surely a huge job and the result is perfect, looks really really good, RESPECT!!
Love this Track and it costed me a lot money to ride it in my own car.
Thank you sooo much!!
B.T.W.
If an other Nordschleife with "NS_Tourist" is installed, this track will not show up in the menu (at least for me). Not really a prob, renaming would fix it.

I gave up the first time, never had the knowledge to set the scn and gbd files before which play a big role in how the track looks.
Textures obviously make a difference but this is one track that the two must work perfectly together or the trees look rubbish.
Busy working on a update, have fixed the problem, just adding one or two more textures and will post a link.

It's possible to release a version with the start/finish line and pits in their original place instead of in the Dottinger Hohe straight? There's only one version of the Nordschleife like this (adapted from NFS Shift) and when i tried it, i struggled with inconstant framerate in the first section of the track even with in time trials and with graphics set on the lowest possible config.

The updates released were based on Patick's conversion to Stock Car Extreme and have no plans on working on any other versions. Out of all the versions I had tried (including NFS Shift) this was the best looking to me, I could be wrong.
There is a VLN update available which I did as a quick fix and you can find more details here with the download link:

Re: AMS track updates by Climax F1
ClimaxF1 I REALLY REALLY wish You were also into us old timers grand old game GTR2
Because with the right attention to detail and Your great updates I think GTR2 tracks could almost look as good
To prove it this is a screen shot I took 2 years ago with 2011 cars on the 24hr Nordschleife in GTR2
It almost looks like a real photo (sorry for hijacking Your thread)

Re: AMS track updates by Climax F1
Hi ClimaxF1,
I have a little issue with Zolder because of the bumps into the corners. AI cars just hit them all the time and it makes offline racing impossible ... Too bad because the track is great !
Which files in the scn should be deleted to remove them from the track ? It will be less realistic but I would find more convenient.
Thanks !

To be honest I don't know, would have to take a look and see.
I know some cars have problems and some don't.
At this stage I have no plans to make any updates with all my uploads.
I've also stopped all things game related as my business is growing and just don't have the time anymore.

Re: AMS track updates by Climax F1
No problems ! I used to make these small edits in Rfactor with 3DsimED, but I can't for AMS. That's why I thought asking would probably be easier, without needing a proprer update for only a small detail. I will try to find the files in the scn if I can.
Thanks a lot for all the tracks you made for AMS, I use most of them !

Here we have another track update, this time it's Washington DC Street Circuit.
Would like to thank Triebie for giving me this track to update, probably one of my favorite street circuits now, lovely flow, fast and looks really nice.
Washington DC Street Circuit
Update details v1.0:
- Different sky files with new lighting added
- New settings for track rgb and fog
- All track textures have being reworked, some are new (track and in field textures)
- New grass added
- Instead of having grass edges right to the track side I've replaced them with concrete blocks that act like curbs or paving, I think this adds a bit more texture and looks really nice.
- I've also replaced some of the infield concrete textures with grass to create some depth, looks better too
- New water color and texture
- New barrier and and amco rails with reworked track cushions
- Reworked trees and bushes a little.
- Reworked every single building texture, removed bad one's, replaced them with new one's.
- Added back round horizon to fill up the gaps
- All banner and sponsors are new
- All track vehicles have being reworked
- All tents have being reworked, added Budweiser tents
- Several small textures around the track have being reworked, some replaced
- Added basic loading screen (no maps available for this track)
Download here:
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/washington-dc-street-circuit-for-ams.26694/
This track was working perfectly for me months ago. Now, all the AI cars in the pit area are "vibrating" as is my car. Cannot even shift into gear to get started due to the jerkiness. What on earth could cause this? It is not a situation of cars loading on top of each other in the pits--happens even if I pick just a couple of AI and happens with all cars. ?!?!?!?
I then tried putting the track in my old Beta install. Works perfectly, as it did in the Release install previously.
What on earth (mod of some sort) could be in my Release install that affects only this one track and in such a strange way? I have no stray files in my Locations folder. What else can I look for as a source of the problem?
EDIT: Problem solved with the help of Dann Murillo, who knew right away that a missing TDF file would cause this issue. So, the mod has no TDF, but how then did it work previously or in my Beta install? I inadvertently deleted the terrain.tdf file from my Release Locations root folder in some clean-up messy mods exercise not realizing it was supposed to be there as a default TDF for just this situation. I have no mods in Beta, so left it alone, but didn't notice it there!
Now the problem is that the AIW file has some serious problems, including zeroed-out track edges in the pit lane that seems to be causing the AI to be afraid to leave the racing (pit lane) line and enter their pit stop areas

AMS Renault Complex
Hi Guys
So I haven't being playing games for sometime now and last night gave AMS a go and the first track I tried is the Renault Complex which I have had as is for sometime now.
I really liked the flow a lot that I decided to update the track. So far looking very nice, had to upscale several textures, some I had no option but to redesign them. Have also replaced all tree's, grass and new scenery added.
Still busy creating new textures and some other minor fixes.
If you guys are interested I can upload the track either later tonight or by the morning.

Of course we are interested! We know you wouldn't put time into anything unless it was interesting/decent quality.
