I think mondeo 4x4 is so much fastest, I have giving it the mondeo 1996 eng.
since I have nearly all STW 1995 races in full can safely tell you the Mondeo 4x4 was a big failure !!!
Fastest Mondeo was Roland Ash in normal FWD , at Nurburgring he won the sprint race and got a podium in main race , the 4WD Mondeo never even came close to a podium during a whole season !!! and it had a competent drive with Thierry Boutsen
Nissan also has a 4x4 Primera for Sasha Massen BUT that was also a failure !! it didn't perform any better than the 2 FWD cars, infact Nissan's best result was the win of Keith O'Dor at the Avus sprint race , and he would have gotten a podium in the main race if it wasn't for his fatal accident ....
both Ford and Nissan dropped their 4x4 experiments and focused on classic FWD
@ Simon when you did the testing let me know if I can proceed to a different pack

Yes I know because I live in the extrem east of France and we have the deutch TV since always. If my memory is good, the reason of the failure of Nissan and Ford 4x4, it's because they have the engine in transversal position when Audi have the engine in longitudinal position. In 1998, when 4x4 are prohibited for manufacturer, the Audi FRW was another failure because the engine is in longitudinal position, transmission is much complicated and the position of the engine cause understeer.
It's the reason why I have giving the engine 1996 with less power at the ford 4x4. Transmission is much complicated for 4x4 and loose much power of the Audi.
The time at Spa 2003 :
Audi 2.24.0
Audi 1996 2.25.2
Ford 4x4 2.25.2
Ford frw 1995 2.24.2
Honda 1995 : 2.25.9
BMW 1995 : 2.26.6
Ford 4x4 with 1996 eng : 2.26.7
Ford fr 1996 : 2.26.7
Nissan fr 1996 : 2.28.0
Toyota carina 2.25.2
I thinlkFord 4x4 is little so much slow with 96 engine but I worls for having 4x4 who are faster on lap with lower power and the same effect wit IA.
BMW need to be fast on lap when she have very good engine for a RWD, but no problem, BMW is one of best motorist in the world and we see at Salzburgring 95 and 96, they are not in the street like Audi.
BMW need much grip on the front wheel at high speed curve.
Intel, have you an idea why civic and chaser not works ? I have the same problem with 2 differents computers

Re: Super Touring World - WIP skins & discussion
Audi is fixed on dry condition
Less topspeed, more grip, more braking, more transmission inertia, little more fuel consumation, weight = 1155kg.
Nissan 4x4, mondeo 4x4 and Audi 80 is almost finished.
Spa 2003
New A4 : 2.24.4
Mondeo 95 : 2.24.2
Donington
New A4 : 1.36.2
Mondeo 95 : 1.36.7
Monza
New A4 : 1.58.2
Mondeo 95 : 1.57.4
I'm in the good, no ?!

I appreciate the effort you've gone to but you are working with old physics, does the 4WD perform closer to other cars at slower, twisty tracks?

I play with the physics who are in the mod with update 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3.
Audi and Mondeo is finished, I have tested with and without talent.
In my 1996 championship with 46 cars and talent, at Spa new Audi doing 7 and 13 in qualy, new mondeo I don't remember, maybe 20-28 or more. In race Audi finish 4 and 8, mondeo 15 and 28.
At Valencia, Audi is dominating car, 1 and 2 in qualy, mondeo 5 and 6,. in race audi finish 1 and 7, mondeo 4 and 26.
With me at spa, Audi doing 2.24.4 and mondeo 2.25.8. I think mondeo just need little adjustement but I think car is good like this. Nissan 4x4 is almost finished and tyre for rwd I have almost finish with IA but not begin with me for human driver.
edit : Audi and mondeo is finally adjusted, RWD tyre is finish
Just finishing audi 80 and nissan 4x4 and it's good

Re: Super Touring World - WIP skins & discussion
I have finish my working
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The alone things I havent change is wet, mansoon and intermediate tyre with human because I haven't the power for not having multiple freezing when I play on wet condition and it's not possible to do a correct lap
But tyre is fixed for AI on wet condition.
The content of pack
- Rear tyre heating bug fix for frw, rwd and 4wd (Rear tyre always cold blue)
- Front temperature tyre bug fix for rwd (behind fix, when you leave pit, front tyre are at 20° and rear at 80°)
- Performance of rwd and 4wd is fixed with human and AI (4wd have less topseed and much grip)
- New car Audi 80 1993 .HDC (car without rear wing)
- New car primera 4x4 .HDC for Sascha Maasen
- Primera 1996 engine fixed
It's for everybody who want to test it and say me what changing
GG all

Re: Super Touring World - WIP skins & discussion
there would be another championship possible, the 1996 South East Asia Touring Car Zone Challenge
problem , reference for just 13 skins and many are a real pain in the a** due to those asian logos and lack of more pics
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
for example how can you know what the big writing on the side is ?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
the only good part in this series is that some of the japanese models like Nissan Sunny, Toyota AE111 or Honda Civic could be exploited
