EEC GT3 cars work very well, feel good, look good etc, but the LMP's (though the Corvette, HPD, Lola and Oreca files are present) don't show in the menu.
I installed the mod and the updates, series are there (srs and tga files). Even repeated the install twice.
I have no clue what can be wrong or missing ?
Thanks for the mod anyway. The part that works is great, which makes it even worse that I don't have the other content working...
I could understand that, but I'd like to know...
I tried so many times, but these cars don't show, nor the series logo... yet they are in the files, all unpacked...

Idk how to help, the mod works fine offline too, if not even the logo appear you did something very wrong

The series folder shows:
eecgt3.srs
eecgt3.tga
eeclms.srs
eeclms.tga
(no eecGTE .srs or .tga files though ?)
GameData shows:
EEC_GT3
EEC_GTE
EEC_LMP2
When opened, all cars seem to be there.
Went (for the ...time) through all files. Only thing that I notice is the presence of EEC_GT3 talent files (in the GameData > Talent dir, none for the EEC_GTE and EEC_LMP though ?

.... the GTE and proto stays together so they are in the eeclms.srs no need a separate one for GTE
And those car folders should not be in GameData, they should be in GameData/Vehicles

I have several mods installed, all working fine, it is just these LMP and GTE cars that don't show up in the game.

Idk, here it works fine. Last time someone had a similar issue was a totally wrong installation with the shared textures, no idea how to help, sorry

A friend of mine (who also recently installed the mod) has the same issue. We both are realetively new to AMS. Maybe something changed in AMS since the mod was available ? Idk...
Pretty happy with the EEC_GT3 cars though. Wonder why they work and the GTE and LMP not...

Some other .tga and .srs files that were deleted earlier also were present again.
Don't know what exactly triggered this, but I am very happy that I can finally drive the LMP and GTE cars.

Not sure which templates you are downloading but the C7.R template is definetly the right one...

Hey guys, I'm using the IMSA 16 series to use this mod offline, but the GTD cars are runnimg laptimes just as fast, if not faster, than the GTLM cars. I was wondering if there's an easy way to fix this by altering Vehicle or .RCD files? Thanks in advance.

GTE and GT3 are the same physics. Aside from the car models they are identical.
There's no "simple" cure that I can think of.
I'm slowly working a GTE physics update but real life gets in the way.

Ah, that explains it. Well I'm in the middle of making talent files for the series, I'm going to make all of the GTD drivers have lower skills and see if I can knock at least a few seconds off the laptimes. Also, since the mod uses the URD Corvette instead of the EEC one, their laptimes are several more seconds off the pace. Not sure I can fix that with talent files (if that even works for GTD.)

You can use the EEC GTE mod straight- up and use these C7R skins instead of using the URD Vette and its skins. Simplifies any physics changes you might want to try.

Actually just had a look on both AMS LMS GTE and GTR2 LMS GTE car files, and i found out that the files types are nearly the same. So as we had a decent GTE physics for GTR2 copying the datas from there to the current GTE cars might work. I'm gonna try it now.

I think would make more sense to rework the GT3 and make them slower than speed up the GTE if you check our race at Silverstone the cars are at a similar pace (except for the Ford GT in real life.. that BoP is crazy).
Yes the GTR2 and AMS files are near the same because GTR2 is very close to rFactor, doest not mean it will work for sure perfectly as it did in GTR2 tho. But worth to try.
If you want a GTE physic that fits AMS better there is Enduracers (what I wanted to use but was instantly shut down by drivers...) or Simtek WES, both available for stock car extreme so you can easly download and test in AMS, they both should be slower than our GT3

I'm almost finished with the Aston, so we'll see what its like. Yep, I wish we had used the GTR2 physics when we moved instead of reworking the whole thing, would be less work for Uli, maybe he'd still be racing. Never was a fan of making everything again every league ^^
Still wish Uli had the time to finish the new physic tho, the new Aston is sweet to drive
Or I wish someone had continued it, when Gilles said he'd do he just lied all the time, dude had no idea what he was doing

So i tweaked the Aston GTE a bit, it feel good to me but i left quite some suspension value at the original GT3 value otherwise it would be bugged.
So after a lot of laps here it what the lap times look:
Portland
avarage best lap from the GTE: 1.10.814 with 1.3 liters/lap
avarage best lap from the GT3: 1.09.255 with 1.6 liters/lap
Paul Ricard
avarage best lap from the GTE: 2.05.145 with 2.3 liters/lap
avarage best lap from the GT3: 2.02.902 with 2.9 liters/lap
If you want to test it, here it is just overwrite everything
