Re: FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]
Sebring is now released, it took me much longer than expected
Because of much less free time, last 3 tracks will take much longer to do, but small progress is still being made.

Thanks for Sebring and I like the loading screen it would fit better when the other tracks get it since it will give it a more consistent style

Just curious if you by chance fixed the issue with Sebring where some cars don’t come out to qualify or is that a car dependent thing?
I only ask because I remember doing alms races and the grid would mix because of this.

I didn't notice that issue, during my tests all AI cars always left their garages during practice and quali sessions.
But yeah this might be a car dependent thing, I had similar problem with slower cars not wanting to leave garages on Spa.

ancient issue on GTR2
in essence the Ai revs up to the pre set launch RPM and tries to leave and if doesn't move immediatly it does NOT stay on the gas and then it tries again an again , it happanes with cars (mods) who have in essence too low torque !!
if you don't want to mess with torque curve on those affected cars (more torque at set launch RPM) another possible fixes are set a much lower 1st gear for ai and perhaps the launch RPM set to value where there is more torque
this shit never happens in Rfactor cos ISI had more foresight ... even really low torque mods don't have any issue moving
AFAIK there is no way in GTR2 where you can edit the Ai and force it to stay on gas to leave the pit, it stays about half a seconds and it's like it "gives" up revs down and then tries again and again
SPA is the track which most affected out of the original ones cos the pits are inclined and not flat so even original SImbin physics might get affected occassionaly
there are a few mods where this happenes on all tracks for example there was a Plymoth Road Runner mod for GTL to GTR2 mod and they nearly never left the garage cos this issues

Re: FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]
I separate championships with multiple classes (like VLN, etc.) by using the "ComparativeTime" in the Car-file and it works fine.
Even if you skip the qualification section, the starting grid is not mixed by the classes. Only sometimes GTR2 puts a faster car on the end of the grid, but these are only a handful of cars (maximum).
Against the problem of cars, which are not leaving the pits, I've no tip.

I find stock Donnington about the worse for that clutch problem. It's really difficult to sort.
Yeah why is that? The worst I've found for this is the Marcos mod. Also affects the vette mod (compared to BPR anyway). Also I have one Venturi that starts at the back unless i give it a 98 class number.

If a particular car has a talent file with the line
- Code:
QualifyingAbility=10.0

I was just randomly looking and stumbled upon the fact that the 2004 Ferrari 360s have some screwed up class lines. Also the dunlop 996 GT3 RSRs seem very slow for some reason

I don't have access to my comp with this mod on right now. However do the dunlop cars use stock dunlop_NGT tires? If so, the dunlops are pretty slow.
Positive feedback: I've really noticed the great improvement to some of the tracks. It's transformed them!

I think they use the default GTR2 classes, so you can't select them for single races in 2004, and the classes won't show for season mode

Hmm, It seems I somehow forgot to include them in patches
Welp, another thing goes on my "to do" list. If you want to fix it yourself, simply change "2004" to "2__4" in classes line.
