FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]

i see many here requesting 3d models here and there... Remember maxellero dont have a 3d modeler to aid him.. What you guys  have to do eventually is to accept there wont be 3d done for this mod fresh.. By the looks there wont be anyone doing a bpr 3.0 mod nor these 996 fixes..

im a 3d modeler but i have my own thing going on... i wish maxellero good luck and hope he does well.. eventually i might drop him a mosler intruder and stradale szz but i wont be doing any 3d for this mod nor gtr2 as my main ambition..

Yeah, I just simply can't be bothered. These 3D changes are not worth the effort because 99% of people won't notice them anyway.

Fantastic skins however the work required for a one race entry is way to much to bother with if unless you were willing to take up the challenge. I’m way too busy working on other things but maybe it would be cool if you could start looking at some 00-01 skins as those seasons need some more love that I didn’t have time to give it.

I suppose it was adressed to me. If so - I really sorry, because I don't know how much time and effort it takes to take some part of existing model and attache it to another... My post was not for Maxellero personally, but rather for anyone who may be willing to help. I believe that 2002 season can be polished pretty quickly, but it seems like no one really interested.

I could paint some 00-01 skins, but first, you guys should change Michelin on-tyre logo on all entries, because it's 2004-spec The approach such as "It's fine as it is" is not the one that'll make you wish to spent sleepless nights scavenging for photos, identifying every little logo and then making it from scratch, etc. When you painting 2002 cars on 2004 models - it's a FANTASY mod and it's just not worth the effort.

It’s not simple as copy and paste you need to make a whole new car basically and thats if the bumpers line up with the chassis right. If you don’t then you have real 3D work to do. Then after that if you wanted it done “proper” you’d have to adjust the mapping to fit your new template which takes time.

I know the pain of research but sometimes you just gotta work with what you have. Ultimately these are cars (except for the PSI Porsche) that you’ll maybe see 5-6 times in the one race that it does. Regardless I appreciate any effort there is to make this the most complete mod there is even though my time with it is basically done.

Just a quick note for the bitter credits wise

99pro/chubower for 3d
Sylph for skins, textures and mapping..

As i reused some stuff from f302s lotus: f302 lotus elise gt1 parts (cockpit and wheels)

For the f302 mesh i used textures done by markonen.. markonen skins on the bitter was used for the bitter cockpit.. but maybe sylph fixed it so cockpit body is the mesh i did and not f302s.

So happy to get the Bitter!

You may need to adjust the mod Lukasz since I've been in contact with a guy and he said Carsport Holland was flat out cheating in 2000

Noticed a couple of bugs with the Elise GT1: no raindrops show on the windscreen, and the rear-view mirrors are upside down!

Some cars don't have rainscreens at all, maybe I'll add them later. About upside down mirrors, I only noticed that recently, because I usually use virtual mirrors
After release of 1999 season and all missing tracks from 1997-1999, I'm gonna reupload entire mod as one pack, I'll fix those issues then too.

Ok, so Hockenheim is released, next tracks should take less time because there won't be new layouts (except Sebring but that's much easier to do, and Suzuka if I'll be crazy enough to bother with correct pit entry).
