Yes for gtr2.. will be used in a gtr2 league me and sylph will be racing in
Most stuff reused from lotus gt1 in this mod .. cockpit details etc

Yes eventually. This initial version is for a league however I will polish it some more for release in this mod in the future.

The ALMS league is ending tomorrow, and it's the 2000 season. 1999 was never finished. But yes it is the same group running it, as the next events after that (from next week with a non-championship test race at Jarama) will be FIA GT 1998/Le Mans 1998.

So the car port and 3d has been done basic by me and sylph is gonna finnish it hopefully..
It uses lotus elise gt1 cockpit as it was a rushed thing for a discord fia gt 98 league it will be used in
You can see friendly racing sites and the last post by crimson if you are intressted.. a kinda laid back league but with some serious racing and fun. Cheers

Yeah seriously join the league. We have close racing for all skill levels, special awards, and a fun atmosphere for all participants.

In the off-chance somebody will ever manage to rip and convert the Sintura, Quaife and Vemac from TIR ( [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ) or make brand new 3D ones to fill some grids in ALMS and British GT, I'll jump on them like a hobo jumps on cardboard boxes and be more than willing to make skins for them.

That would be really awesome, I think people have talked about them before but I don't recall anybody being able to do it
But there are still many cars that can be skinnable from British GT '98-'99 (the F1 GTR, Lister, Porsche 911 GT1 96/97 & most of the GT2 cars too... I think only the Harriers are missing truly)

i had previously intensions to do a sintura s99... but im supplying sevral models for a diffrent project related to fia gt 97-99.. brittis gt models are not on my radar..
im contactable at pm if anyone has suggestions or something

The Harrier could be painted on a Quaife, they don't look that different to be honest and I'm aware earlier British GT years in general are lacking a lot of entries, but I personally only want to work on unique cars, the "average" Viper or McLaren can be of interest to somebody else quite frankly.

I know for a fact Speedster managed to convert the Vemac as he showed it with JGTC skins on it, but he's too stupid or paranoid (or both) to answer emails about it.
I have the game and the files myself, but I didn't find a way to extract them.

nice car  , too bad it was mediocre   on the grid   maybe if they had a proper budget who knows



if there is interest   for some more 3D   work      BPR Global GT    V3.0       could be an option  for later

there are  a few skins misisng (mostly various Porsches , , a few Venturies  )  ,     2 Ferrari which need small 3D editing (the 96 Hartman F40 and the Yellow Racing F355 )      and some Porsche 993 need custom rear wings like this

and with a few misisng 3D models many became available   like the Viper RT10, the old spec Viper GTS  , Lister Storm  etc  now the Morgan           it is a mod which could  have a 100 %  grid     (excluding non GT entries in   Japan   like the GTO Mazda or  LMP Kuzdu   or those  hoards of Oscar SK5.2     or  guest entries with no reference material )

I know he did but I gave up hoping to see those GT PSP cars released...

Also, Ascari raced this ugly thing in 1997 after trying to do something with it at Le Mans. I can't think of a car that would look similar to it and considering how ugly it is, this may be a good thing

Well, I feel like I must post this notification regarding the ongoing work on 2002 season.

First of all, we need to make a model for those three UNIQUE Porsches from 24h Of Spa. #95, #97, #98:

To have rhese cars we need to take the base model of 2004 #121 Markant Racing Porsche:

And for #95 - to add the standard 996 GT3-R REAR BUMPER and HEADLIGHTS from 2003 #160.

For #97 we need the standard 996 GT3-R REAR BUMPER, headlights from 2004 PSI Motorsport Biturbo and the FRONT BUMPER from this model:

For #98 we need the standard 996 GT3-R REAR BUMPER, standard GT3-RS headlights, custom foglights, LeMans style rear wing and the front bumper from this 2004 Cup Porsche:

Those three combinations could be united in one file(sorry if I'm wrong) as three options for one model. The same thing with some 3D editing must be done to 2002 996 Biturbos - #7, #25, #26 and #96.

HQ skins for Biturbos are done and when the models are ready for unique 996 GT3's - I'll paint them in a blink of an eye. But without proper models I can't see the point in releasing existing skins as well as spent tons of time to make new. I have no desire to contribute to a FANTASY mod. Not with such amount of effort that I put in research and development to make these skins.
