Long post incoming, but important one.
Last couple weeks have seen little mod progress, combination of flu and university work delays because of it to blame.
Thanks to the guys over at PM3DM Asseto Corsa Modding Group I got some actual set-up information sheets for Honda, Ford, Audi, and also info on BMW. Physics have been therefore updated again with these values.
3D modelling is 99% complete. Couple cars still need some details adding but otherwise its done.
Markano hasn't been able to complete all his reworks yet due to time constraints of his own - however all skinpacks that are complete will be added into the mod. HSTCC / Historics will be released afterwards as they need some updates.
Talent files have been tweaked a bit. Previous versions had multiple copies of each driver per season, which for the last version of the mod worked perfectly. However as ST2.0 has more car performance changes and differences, the Talent files shall be streamlined into one for each driver.
Track pack has been delayed, mostly again due to availability of people for working on things due to IRL commitments.
Tweaks being done on menu audio - ToCA2 SFX are in, and sound recordings to get you in a "period" mood - you'll see when you download the mod, classic commentaries mixed with some audio kindly provided by Youtubers who've been to recent HSTCC events
Hopefully, a minimum of a taster of the mod with a single skinset or two will be out for christmas and in new year the full version will be out.
Post-release, the mod will continue to be fully supported with updates and revisions where appropriate, on this page a website that's WIP. Mirror links will be set up as well.
Also new year will see after release the next stage of the BTCC experience for GTR2, with permissions granted to do an overhaul and update of the BTC era 2001-2003 mod, with plans to extend that to 2006.
All in all, future looks positive. I cannot apologise enough for delays but as we all know real life has a habit of throwing spanners in the works... but I would advise you to dust off your steering wheels / gamepads / keyboards very soon!

Hi Furi, Having a few alpha map issues:
1. Windshield sun visor clipping tree line textures causing flickering - especially Monza
2. Wingmirror surround texture clips into track edging - again, Monza will show this issue
I am able to fix the DDS windscreen but where is the wingmirror texture placement or which DDS file is it on?

After testing a few more vehicles, it seems to be the Ford Mondeo that has the sun visor issue and any car that has a flat black wing mirror suffers from track edge glitching.
I don't think this occurs on all tracks but if you test the Mondeo at Monza you should see the issues.

bazwaterboy - The easiest fix is to set Shadows to HIGH instead of FULL and the awkward way is to edit the .cas files for each vehicle.
Try the Video / Shadow setting to see if that fixes your issue first.

What happens when you drive out of the pit building?
Its usually the cockpit glass that causes the problem, what I can remember changing the .cas files lines ShadowReceiver=True to ShadowReceiver=False fixed the issue for me.
But the Video Settings - Shadows from FULL to HIGH should disable cockpit shadows?

In your Teams folder, if you have any loose SCREEN_DIRTXX.dds files, XX meaning number, usually between 00 and 05, in this case, remove them. However do back them up if you want to readd them later. Chances are they don’t work with the Supertouring mod.
