IMSA LMP1 Project

Hi all,

I'm currently working on an IMSA (Tudor/USCC/whatever) LMP1 series.
28 carskins so far... if there's enough interest, I'll release it when I get to 40.

Here's a little preview of a few skins... I rebadged the 2012 Grid Mod R18 to a Chevrolet Dallara... with the WSGT C6 sounds it gives a nice big american muscle car impression
And the RWD P30 stands in as a Riley.

I still have a long way to go though... I want at least 40 cars in total, though some might be single race entries, for Daytona, Sebring, Petit etc... changing liveries on some cars, changing drivers, what have you.

Any teams you guys miss in the previews so far? I'm open to suggestions

Why you don't use real model?
Riley,Corvette,Mazda,ligier?

Because they're semi-fictional. Based of real skins but not on the real cars. And who cares, these stunning skins look 10x better than the actual DP's racing currently. I look forward to playing with them soon.

Edit: How about some old-school teams like Muscle Milk? Or ADT Champion Racing or even Intersport? I think these teams skins could look really nice on those models you're using.

There are no real Riley, Corvette, Mazda or Ligier LMP1 cars.

I know that fictional cars aren't everyones cup of tea, but I'm not forcing anyone to like it. I do this because it's fun.

That's this one done... I tried to make the all black with red stripes design aswell, but it really doesn't look good on this car.

For the Patron Highcroft I need a car that I can badge as an HPD/Acura though and I don't know which one yet.
The other Epsilon maybe, though that looks a bit too European. Maybe the 2012 Toyota made by the CZSCGT team.

Good idea It's a bit tricky to stick a fin onto it, because of the very low middle section of the roof, but I'll give it a shot

(tricky as in, if I don't want the rear wing to be extremely low I'll have to stretch the fin a bit which will result in mapping issues... but we'll see.)

What about the 908 in the Grid mod? There's a 2011 version that already has a fin, so it'd save you some work.

Yeah, but the Enduracers car has a good template, so in the end that'll save me the trouble of making my own. Templates aren't hard, just time consuming.
And there's a huge difference between the first and current generation finned cars... and anyways, I've already started!
