Re: [Update-Release] Total Spa 2013 2.5
Ah ok. Well, of course there is a difference if you adjust springs and all that stuff. What Realism Setting do you drive? Do you run with helps? If you run in simulation mode, you will feel it much more. But the original cars and many other mods are quite sensitive on those changes. Just try the SGT Mod. Run once with softest springs and no packers, then run with hardest springs. The difference is huge.
The major problem of many mods is that if you read 250 N/mm Springrate, then you have quite often just half of it, because many mods use a multiplicator for this of 0.5-0.7. And so if you change the settings by 10 N/mm, then you actually change it by just 5 N/mm. And so the effect is less. But the major effect of this multiplicator is, that the car might work nice and smooth, but in extreme situations like in Eau Rouge, the whole suspension is underpowered. And that's why you hit that hard the ground.
What you can do easily is to adjust the UndertrayParams in the HDC Files:
UndertrayParams=(262500.0,11600.0, 4.0) - this is the original setting, also used by most mods.
UndertrayParams=(5000.0,11500.0, 1.0) - this is what I can recommend you to try, because it is imo much more accurate to reality - you can scratch over the ground, but you won't lose too much speed and the undertray is much less aggressive.
Regardings Pit Box Positions: Check the original GTR2 Tracks GDB Files for the part PitGroup. You may want to try to overtake it to this track. With the PitGroups you can order by yourself the order in the garage.
The other reason is the AIW, but that's a much more complex story. If you like, you can try to learn creating your own AIW or editing this by yourself (all points in that tutorial can also be done alone, but first read it completely ):

Wow that seemed to get it done. +1 for you Sir I didn't even have to change the ride height for a try. Unfortunately I drive with helps on except transmission and brake help, keyboard user here so yeah I'm so noob lol
Anyway that undertray line seems to help, I'll test around more added with the the other topic.
Once again Uli thank you
And yes I'm really interested creating some AIW files for various tracks and share them with you guys but as of now I don't have rfactor as I see it's needed.

rfactor is easy to get and therefor it really costs nothing. Just check at ebay or whereever you want

Re: [Update-Release] Total Spa 2013 2.5
After testing some tracks of khan1670, I was impressed by their performance, especially those SRW Tracks he released. That challenged me now, to do the same with this Total Spa Track with success already. Before I was hardly able to run on full details alone on this track, now I can run 60+ cars on full details and effects.
Just need to do some more adjustments, probably I'll add some Skidmarks and 3D-Gras. A release should be soon out there during the next 2-3 weeks.

great news uli, spa needs to handle huge grids, so every extra frame is welcome

That's great news Uli
Last week I think I fixed the black sky issue I had with Your older version but the
fps were still very low so I removed the track hoping You'd release an updated version
Can't wait to see it

Hi Uli,
I hope you are still working on the adjustments of this track?
