Hello from sunny Newport Beach, California
Hi, everyone.
I'm Bill from Southern California. I turn 57 on May 2.
I've been messing around with GTR2 for about 7 years now. Still not tired of it. Race on GTL, too, and really like PnG.
Really like the hillclimb tracks. I like to race against the clock. Races are a lot of fun, too. Not a lot of time to do so, though.
I heard of your site through others in the community.
I do not race online. My time on my home PC is very limited (even erratic) due to personal responsibilities.
I have learned over the years how to perform simple conversions of fFactor and GTR EVO/RaceOn tracks to GTR2. I've been trying to focus on becoming more knowledgable about .aiw files, as that seems to be an area that needs attention on most tracks I've converted.
I have released some of the conversions I've done, on a few different sites. I do not mind posting any of them here, and will do so with future output, as well.
Whether or not I am granted access to all mods on this site, I intend to be a good member and stick around. I will assist anyone I can with what limited knowledge I have.
Besides racing / modding, I enjoy motorcycling (2006 Hayabusa) and playing guitar. I've worked in IT for about 23 years.
See you in the forum.
