Conversion from rFactor to GTR2/GTL/Race 07 by Sergio Hundo
Firstly, I want to thank Thomas from the WCP team for giving me permission to convert this incredible track. Thanks, Thomas! And congratulations to all of you for the excellent work.
The track is practically finished, but I'm releasing this track as WIP, because there are some details that need to be fixed. I'm releasing it, because many people asked for it to be released, even without having made these adjustments.
I made several modifications and additions of objects. Including some objects for the pit area of an AC track. I want to thank everyone who made these objects that we use on the tracks. You need to be congratulated and recognized. You do a great job, guys!
What needs to be corrected?
When the AIs enter the pit, they do not stop to refuel, nor do they stop when returning from qualifying laps. I had not finished the conversion for this reason, but as many asked to play without having to stop in the pit, I decided to complete the conversion. I tried to fix it with rFactor's AIW Edits, but I was unsuccessful. I really need to learn how to edit and do AIW. I really wish someone could fix this. It's not just me who likes this track, many will definitely like it.
There are two other issues I've identified in GTR2 night racing. There is a texture of a piece of grass that does not darken, it is clear compared to the dark textures of other objects. It looks like that alpha channel effect. But the name of the material is the same as other track grasses and this problem does not occur. But it's just a patch of grass, to the right, on the starting grid. The other problem is a part of the track (on the first straight, after the curves after the grid), which is lit. I tried to correct the material, textures and effects channels, but I was unsuccessful.
These are the "details" that need to be fixed. Apart from that, the track is finished. I play on it whenever I have time and a computer. The track, for me, is very good.
I hope you enjoy it and have races with lots of disputes with the AI's.
The track was converted and tested with the original specialfx.tec file from GTR2 and Race 07. Therefore, there is no problem with this file. You can use the original game file.
If the original creator of the track when identifying this conversion to GTR2 and request their removal from any website hosted by me, this will be done immediately, therefore, hosting on another website without my knowledge is not allowed.
The purpose of all this is to provide entertainment, without any financial or commercial return. Have fun ! This is enough.
Instalation:
Unzip rar file with Winrar or similar program and paste in Location folder in GTR2. Enjoy !!!

As a CTD was reported due to the lack of the emap_glass.dds file, I leave a link below for anyone who needs it. Just put it in the track folder or Teams folder.
