Test Drive LeMans was not a good game, but that's ok. I want to ask some questions for help however. Is there a good functioning LeMans track for GTR2 with the layout between 1991 and 2000? @nd question is has someone already done these skins?
But my last question I'm not sure on the way to ask it. When I was looking for cars to include in this from my archived install I used LMGTP cars from LeMans1999 as well. One of them is from Prototypes SCC I remember. Another I had made a conversion from Forza models for myself, but the 3rd one I think is probably from Assetto Corsa? Or maybe rFactor2. It's missing the eng and grb and tyr files. I want to ask if there's a GTR2 convert of those 2 cars in particular that I am allowed to use with permission but I'm a little scared to make a mistake on this.
I mention 3 LMGTP cars from 1999 but there was also supposed to be Sintura S99 in that race too. Did anyone ever make that car for the game?
This link should help you:

Re: FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]
Thanks for the link. Sorry about going off topic a little, and for being vague I was worried of getting into trouble for just asking if there are more modern versions of the CLR, R8C, and TS020 somewhere around somewhere and the R8C I'm using is missing physics.
Also I wish I did play Test Drive LeMans on dreamcast
But back to the topic. About LM97 skins, I changed the Lister in the picture myself, I have not looked yet to download them since I'm also adding other random cars from this mod like the Venturi and the Supra from LM95. What I should really look for are templates. At the moment all I'm doing is changing some skins that come with the pack

@DaBlub has made an r8c for this forum. I don't know if the thread is still available, and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] has also converted a TS020.

Ahhh I think I get it now. The root cars are in the private section of the site, you've got these cars from the FIA mod correct? That's why you don't have the LM skins.
I think all the cars you want bar the CLR are in the private section.

I didn't know there are skins done for LM97 here. I think I didn't even know of a private section. I probably won't be seeing it without some permission so I'll just solo on

My personal rule is any car that didnt actually partake in the race doesn't get put in. Same reason the Mustang isnt included from Laguna either.

All these skins look amazing guys!
You'll get the rep points, just got to have patience
That's kinda my rule too with VLN as well, if it doesn't start IRL I don't put it in
Shame an awesome livery like that kinda gets wasted, mind you it wasn't like there wasn't enough Porsche 993's starting that race.

if you all like it why not include it and be done ? it was a t track, practiced, qualified even , they may had engine problems or the likes which prevented from racing , Grid: 30th (2:21.086)
it's not like some entry list only which never shows up at the track to begin with

Nobody is stopping you from doing it yourself. I've moved on from skinning for gtr2, i dont play it anymore.

Ended up talking to Michael Zoch, the owner of the C4 Vette from the Watkins Glen race, turns out the car was a 4 speed with a 348 Chevy engine

Interesting, the LT5_GTO_420HP.eng in the Corvette Meeting mod is a 348, so only adjustment needed is to slap on another .grb-file and drivetrain settings.

Re: FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]
Hey guys, I've been trying the 2007 #202 JMB Racing Ferrari F430 GT3 on the Adria track and noticed that the engine overheats as soon as during lap 2. I've checked the .eng file for the car and, excepting all the RPMTORQUE part, everything else uses the same exact values as, for example, the vanilla Porsche 996 GT3 RS engine. So, maximum radiator set, no absurd values in the engine file (nor in the .hdc file: all the Radiator values are the same as the vanilla Porsche too), but the engine overheats pretty much after 2 minutes on track until it eventually blows up.
I'm a little confused. Any ideas?

The gearbox can play an important role on overheating problems. I'm not a physics expert but everything works together each other.
If the gearbox is the same too, you have to play with these values in your engine file (I'm not suggesting the values but which lines must edited):
OptimumOilTemp=95.0
CombustionHeat=40.0
EngineSpeedHeat=12.000e-004
OilMinimumCooling=7.50e-003 // heat dissipated without oil/water transfer
OilWaterHeatTransfer=(3.962e-001,7.925e-005) // heat transfer from oil to water (base, w/ engine speed)
WaterMinimumCooling=3.962e-003
RadiatorCooling=(1.592e-004, 10.039e-005)
LifetimeEngineRPM=(7500.0, 95.0)
LifetimeOilTemp=(100.00, 3.00)
LifetimeAvg=10800
LifetimeVar=2250

Hello there! The gearbox file (.grb) is identical to vanilla Ferrari 360. All of these values from the .eng file are exactly the same too (in fact, the entire .eng file is identical, except for the RPMTORQUE part). The Radiator values in the .hdc files are identical too. That's why I'm pretty much confused.

Re: FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]
Hello there! It's using the default Michelin_GT tyre file. For the record, I've tried using auto-shifting and auto-clutch too, with similar results (so it doesn't look like it's due to bad RPM or gear management on the player's end).harvestmouse wrote:Tires? As the tires play a part on the gearbox!
EDIT: I've tried copying & pasting the vanilla Ferrari 360 engine file and now it seems that there's no engine overheating. Could it be some kind of issue with the RPMTorque values, as these are the only ones that differ?
EDIT 2: I copied the entire RPMTORQUE part from the Ferrari 430 GT3's engine file and combined it with everything else from vanilla Ferrari 360's engine file. It worked! Still confused, but the issue was solved, so thanks everybody!
