AC converted skins

First of all, a disclaimer: I've been out of this community for almost ten years. Broswing forums here and there, I'm aware of some drama between creators/groups, but I don't usually get into it, so I'm not REALLY up to date in this stuff. If I'm posting something that's not allowed, please tell me and I'll do what's necessary.

I've been converting AC skins for some GT3 series that I've found complete on RD (so far I've done Bathurst 12h 2018 and Super GT 300 2018).

I'm using the GT3 models found here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] they are TBH inferior conversions of some other mods, and I would love to use Scorpyo GT3 Addon, but I don't have several models avaliable to me right now (Aston Vantage, Bentley, BMW M6, and the Cadillac), so I'm working with what i have.

My question is: is there ANY interest in these? Is this already avaliable by somebody else, or is it just too easy that anybody can do it? And even then, can/should I release it (with the proper credits, of course)? It's not really my work, I just edited some bits, and would be making a pack easier to download. I don't know, just thought I should ask.

You can post it with credits but I'd also leave the link to the trackaholics mod so people dont get confused as there is what feels like 10 different versions of the same GT3 models rolling around.

I agree with Troy and to try to find the best GT3 mods available

The "mrw-simracing" mod is good but all cars defiantly need more
work done I'm beginning to wonder if that will ever happen

The main reason I like the "mrw-simracing" mod is the shader package
it makes the Aston Martin and the BMW M6 look better in My opinion

No one's mods are nearly as good as Scorpyo's mods (never have never will)

Thanx for these skins guys, super job. Just a little disappointed that the "chrome" effect of the
888 Vodafone AMG isn't more realistic but hey, tough job I'm sure. Also noticed the 2 AMGs
have dark tinted windows from the drivers viewpoint. Any "fix" in the wind?

To get the chrome effect in GTR2 your going to need a custom body mask. The default one looks pretty matte based on the screenshots.

To do it properly you actually need to make new set of body1 textured meshes and use a position in genstring for them.
Because as all my cars use SRPL shaders it won't be enough as simply adding new body mask won't do much.

They have this cloudy look to them and it's hard to see whats in front of You
