Re: [RELEASE] Lexus RCF-GT3
I have the HUD from nogrip some years ago and made some small changes. I didn't have the original file anymore and nogrip is down. I upload my files so you can try it.shovas wrote:Beautiful work. What is that HUD from in the OP's screenshots? I like that minimal look.

raphaelnariga wrote:Hi Iron, how are you? I'm in love with the car. Thanks to Ulf and you to provide it for GTR2.
Can I make two observations about it?
1. Could you help me with the windows painting? I was trying to make the 2018 Emil Frey on Spa grid, but I couldn't make the windows painted properly. I have all the updates installed.

2. Other thing I noticed, the 24h side lights are a little bit in the "middle" bumper part, is it possible you could move them more to the corner, as the real car is, please?

Thanks a lot Iron!

Re: [RELEASE] Lexus RCF-GT3
First of all thanks ONCE again for all the work put in the cars you already published! Just to know, am I the only one without FFB on my G27 in this car? I already reinstalled it with the newest version on the first page, but still no luck.
Thanks for help and your reply!

Re: [RELEASE] Lexus RCF-GT3
open the HDC file in a text editor and change the following parameter
[CONTROLS]
SteeringFFBMult=0.0 // vehicle-specific force feedback strength multiplier - max =1.0
hope this helps.

Re: [RELEASE] Lexus RCF-GT3
you have to remodel the rear part completely....
i gave up on it when i created the car, the result was never as it should be.
Maybe you can do better :-)

No Triebie, I can't do it better No way for me to do this. Take a look in zModeler on it. The mesh is to complicated around the lights. This can only be done new and this is far away my skills.

Re: [RELEASE] Lexus RCF-GT3
My advice, how about wait a little more for ACC models get converted? Since some guys around internet broke the rFactor 2 models protection I think it's probable we can see some of them available on web.
This model is already super nice for everybody.

i have never heard that anybody broke the rF2 encryption.
please share your source because i would be really interested in that one:-)
All i know is that some people were just able to rip the model with that Ninja Ripper thing.
You will get some LOD As and some textures, but that means a lot of work to do when you get your hands on those models.
At least the UV is already done so you can spare all the remapping work for the carbody:-)
and yes, you can rip the ACC models but they are very huge and this also needs weeks of work to make them playable on our old gaming platforms...

lol...
we are using Ninja Ripper to grab those models even now with ACC models too...
It's a hell of job to do...

For me this is a light in the end of the tunnel...is it possible, right?
I'm not a modder, but I think this is a progress.

not as much we I'd like...
these RF2 cars works only on a steam game (not cracked)...
so it does not help u to use ninja ripper if the car does not load in your game...

To be honest, no, not all the cars. I really don't see the point remaking all of Scorpyo's available ones since he already did many of them in boomshakalaka state. It's like a slap in the face for him, cast away the mod? Are they even different than the AC ones? That's what primarily I'm talking in about. If you take an example the Huracan, will it be so different in and out than the AC one? And still unknown how heavy it will be as he let's not forget literally optimized them. Anyhow, it's up to him if he or someone else wanna remake all cars but at least a starting point should be with the remaining cars than the already available superb ones that could come later. PC2 have some great stuffs too.

There's a big difference from each other...
