AMS track updates by Climax F1

Hi Guys

As with all my other tracks this is very similar, although this was probably one of the best tracks to work from.

Update details:

- New AMS random skies with atmosphere added
- all textures have being reworked
- Some textures are new like pit garage doors with some trees and bushes around the track with some surface one's too
- All road and track side surfaces have being optimized to remove glow and adjustments made for better appearance.
- All trees, grass and bushes have being reworked for better appearance and natural colors.
- Several other fixes
- New loading screen

Noordschleife and Sachsenring is almost done, most of the surface,building and object textures have being reworked or replaced.
I am just busy rebuilding with all the trees around the tracks and as you know both these tracks have a lot of them.
Have a really nice Korea which I just finished and will upload  and Bahrain day and night will be uploaded with the Korea track too.

Here are two more tracks for you guys. I apologize for no screen shots, just haven't had the time, but for those who know some of the tracks I have updated am sure that you will be happy with both these.

Calder Park was a bit of a challenge as their are not that many textures to play around with.
I have done the general updates as I do with all the other tracks with new surfaces and reworking all other textures.
There is a new atmosphere and I've used a fixed sky instead of a random one because with some of the random skies it causes a glow in the horizon and with some it makes the back round scenery glow a bit strange too.
With this sky you have decent lighting and no glow.
With the banners I've used the most common Super V8 one's as there are no good videos for reference other than drag days which the track is also known for but doesn't really help me.
I also cannot find a decent track map so the loading screen one is a touch blurry.
It is a basic track and pretty old but still turned out ok and is fun to race.

With Croft circuit here you will have all the updates including random skies.

Thanks for your continued work on AMS. I am getting a white box in the sky where the sun? should be at Assen & Croft circuits- don't have this issue on your other tracks. Tried re-validating the installation/deleting the HAT files but no luck so far.

That's very strange.

This you only have if  your scn file is setup incorrectly. I've even added the sun file textures that you find in the commonmapsgsc mas file so that these tracks use the AMS commonmaps.
If there was a problem with the scn file I would also have this problem when using AMS commonmaps as it does not have the GSC sun textures.
This why I have added the additional sun.mas file.

These are two tracks that I also had given out prior to uploading to some friends and know one has had any issues at all.
Here are some screens that I just took and one can see that both tracks have sun.




Have also checked the uploads to make sure that both tracks are exactly the same as on my pc and they both have all the sun.mas file and the correct scn. file.

Not sure how to solve this problem because these tracks were tested by some friends first and now checked by me again and there's no such problem.

Here's another really nice track, both the way it looks and feels. Like the layout, really nice to race on.

Same as most the other track updates, atmosphere with random skies added, most the texture's have being reworked and optimized to remove any glow.
The Dunlop tire is probably my favorite texture update, looks like real rubber.
Some general fixes here and there.
New loading screen.

Hey Climax.....dude , thank you so much for keeping up with all your work you have done for AMS! Guy's like you , Patriot , Rebellion , Patrick and quite a few other's.....have made this already great sim , into something incredible! You have also updated a few of the track's in which have always been some of my favorite's too. Like Assen , Nogaro and Kyalami.....freakin sweet!

I have another track ( and I can't remember which one at this very moment ) , that I had a complete blast driving it , but the guy who made it , didn't correct the bad Ai. I mean like they can't even get around the track. I wish I could figure out how to " teach " the Ai how to drive on a couple track's , but that one in particular is really bugging me.

Anyway's.....thanks for all your hard work you have put up here and over on RD!

Just niticed that the GBD file has the track listed as Circuit Racardo Tormo instead of Circuit Ricardo Tormo.

Should be a easy fix for you but will update the file for the rest.
