What version of Exige do you want?
Re: FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]
Ok so I see majority of people want new version. I'll work a bit on it and add it on next patch. I also think to release old one in separate download so if someone doesn't want new one, will have an option to still use old version.
EDIT:
Some changes to rear bumper, added new diffuser and moved exhaust lower. Next I'll fix transparency issue with wheels and try to make a cockpit to look less like a road car.

always wondered why Simbin didn't do this seasons themselves, GTR 2 was released in late 2006 , they had plenty of time to do essentialy Skin packs and few extra 3D models for 2000 - 2006

I'd imagine It'd have to do with licensing.

I think they just didn´t bother and did what they had to do but not anything beyond that.
Thats the issue when the only competition at the time was rFactor...which only had the crappy default content at the time.

I have some vague memories on certain car but can't remember if FIA GT or some Le Mans (test) maybe someone knows it ,
there was a classic red Ferrari 550 which was in the inferior class where usually the 360 and Porsche 996 was but I just can't remember were this was , any info ?

Have to say that this is my most clicked mod ever, especially since it may be getting expanded to 1997 on. FAI GT is like my generation of GT racing in alot of ways and to get the entire era represented in game full would be something else.
Keep up the good work guys.

I discovered a problem in 2005 season with the 2 Eurotech Porsche 996 no 76 and 77
I think they got switched around , 76 was an R while 77 was an RSR
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
in the pack they are switched around

Re: FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]
Actually those two Eurotech cars did the British GT of that year. And the mod’s shape for them is correct. #77 is actually an RS (they’ve run that particular RS since 2001) not an RSR, and #76 is an RSR chassis but with the engine from a GT3 R. My guess is that racing sports cars were the ones who got them switched.

hmmm it seems true !!
I checked the TSL archieve for the race results
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Colins / Jordan are listed like an RS while the Jones Brothers as Porsche GT3
the downside is that ingame the Jones Brothers are faster but in reality the white car was always a bit faster, easy solution perhaps custom physics for this 996, RSR with slower ENG file

Oddly enough this was by far the easiest car for logo searching. Hypermedia was the hardest as it was just trying to find an archive with the logo still available.

Re: FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]
Guys, I need some help...
I am doing some rework of physics on the 2000 - 2004 cars and I need info on the Porsche 993 GT2's
From what I can find all entries are always listed as either 911 GT2 or 911 GT2 R wich should be the same.
When searching for specs I found there are 2 versions of the car, the regular R and the Evo. After that everything I can find is confusing me more and more. There have been 3.6L and 3.8L versions but I dont know wich version had wich engine. On top of that in 1998 the regular GT2 R got an increase in power output.
What I am looking for is info on the entries of the FIA GT races, specially if they were using a regular GT2 R or an Evo version.
We know that some teams, Freisinger and Konrad and Wieth in 2000 for instance, were reasonibly competitive in their class and others, like Proton, Autorlando and others were dreadfully slow and drove along the slower N-GT class Porsches.
How to tell wich are Evo's and wich arent? If any team used a regular GT2 instead of an Evo I really would like them represented the right way.
Any help is appreciated

Re: FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]
I give you my useless opinion. Probably the most competitive cars were Evo and they had the 3.8L engine while the slowers had a smaller engine (3.6L) mounted on an older version. This is my prediction on the correct specs.
P.S. I read somewhere on nogrip that the two 911 GT2 in the standard game debuted in 1998 and 1999, I imagine i'm close to the true specs.
