Hello guys,

I'm relatively new to sim racing, I've played Gran Turismo with a gamepad for a few years but other than that, nothing. I got GTR2 about a month back and was playing it with a ps3 controller; well recently I bought a Fanatec CSR wheel with CSR elite pedals.
I'm loving GTR2 and GSCE so far with the wheel, but the force feedback is very inconsistent across games, and even cars within the same game. My problem is I have never owned a steering wheel before, and have no idea what it's supposed to feel like, is there a game out there with good FF out the box that I can base FF on?

Thanks, Kamil

In general you want to use the tool/software of the wheel for every game independantly. Frankly I find that too much work so I use the same setting of force in my T300RS for every game I play, sure I'm sometimes muscling my arms around a corner in one game where I'm steering with one finger in another but I'm just that lazy.

If you aren't, you should setup your wheel for every single game with the steering wheel software and finetune it with the gaming software. It'll take time, but if you're willing to do that it should work out. Every game out there has a different sensitivity for FFB (PCars for example has one of the absolute worst) so it depends on your own driving ability and what you actually expect/want. Remember you shouldn't be fighting the wheel, you should be fighting the grip levels.

In mt DFGT I use same setting from wheel driver for all games, then adjust the strenght in game depening on the car I'm driving and also depends on the sim. For example rF2 FFB is very strong, makes my whele go hotter than AMS so I need to reduce it a bit also because of my desk
