Gtr2 will never die. Also, I must say how privileged I feel being part of this wonderful forum, being sorounded with modders of the greatest sim released.

I never share anything anywhere, here and there I post some videos on my racing sites that might feature some cars from mods that can be found here, but never with posted links. Just pure artistic freedom and appreciation of great work that is done here.

Keep doing great job guys, and I'll keep testing the new content with biggest of pleasure and giving my feedback on mods back.

GTR2 is old school sim racing this will never die All new games have fancy menus and graphics but mis the race feeling that GTR2 still has.

Meh GTR2 won't die that easy, bcus this is the origin of so many great stuffs for racing, I'm sure it won't die

For me this is just too complicated on this page, some may not do something and the others may not.

I now have experience with Assetto Corsa and RaceRoom.

My GTR2 mods I have on external hard drives. Each mod has its own GTR2. Otherwise, it would be too confusing, because every year there are new physics, tires, engines and transmissions, as well as talent files that reflect reality at this time. Even the race track files are different every year, so I force each car to one or more pit stops.
The biggest problem is the copyright of each model. I use models from many modders, some of them have been modified, and the legal owner is no longer known to me. Therefore, these mods remain unpublished. I worked on the FIA ​​GT Mod 2008, but I developed one for myself in parallel.
Unfortunately, there is no such community as 2008 on GTR4u.de anymore.

We should just not waste our time with people like him. He’s done the same thing over and over again for years now (dating way back over at NoGrip). Shown off his content with absolutely no intentions of releasing it. And the whole “permissions/copyright” sounds suspectful as well. Isn’t that what this forum was made for? So that mods could be accessed in otherwise unreachable places? (Notably the GRID mod.) Ah well, like he said he’s leaving the GTR2 scene. While the community gets nothing it’s probably for the best. Would his content even be worth having in our installs? Probably not, but let’s leave him to enjoy his “private” collection.

I'll be honest most of the stuff he probably has has now already been done by either me or others (skins wise) and more accurately too since more footage has been found since he started showing his stuff.

The only stuff he has that I'd be wanting is the talent and performance tweaks but thats something anyone can do with enough time.
