GTL+ for AMS
I have added a few mods together to expand the GTL mod
Hope you like what I have done so far.
There are still a lot of cars I could add. I might split the muscle cars up into their original mods, so they can be raced as originally presented or with other categories, sky's the limit.

After much hard work, V2 is now up. It's just the mod with earlier fixes included. Plus the cars I added Later in this thread.
I may do a patch one day as there are some cars still with no or dodgy shadows in the spinner. I doing the shift mod shadows, naming and veh updates atm 500 cars so might be a while. Enjoy and have a great year all.

I missed the rename of a backfire in the amm Cougar. It's an easy fix. Open the cougar_gen.gen file with notepad, scroll to the bottom
rename backfire.gmt to COUG_backfire.gmt Should then look like,
Instance=BACKFIRE
{
Moveable=True
MeshFile=COUG_backfire.gmt CollTarget=False HATTarget=False LODIn=(0.00) LODOut=(70.0) ShadowReceiver=False
}
If more errors are found I will add a patch

The cars are getting there.
I have added a few more cars to the wsc70 mod. I have also moved the Chaparral and Matra-Simca_MS650 from the can-am folder. to the wsc-70 folder, where they should be. so the one's in the can am folder will need deleting once you add the next patch.
One day I will update the orig upload but at 3 gig it won't be till next month sometime.

first is a small fix, V1.02 is the track fix. V1.03 us extra cars and a large fix for all the stuff I missed.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS TO GET IT TO WORK.
Update 1.03
fixed missing sounds, un encrypted files, and many others
Before you in stall, Please do the following.
delete the Chaparral and Matra-Simca_MS650 from the can-am folder.
I have moved them to the wsc-70 folder, where they should be.
Also delete the GT40 from the AMM folder and the Porsche 906 from the WSC70 folder.
they are causing conflicts with the GTL mod.
you will also need to delete the GT40mk1 from the WSC70 folder I made a full renamed version to replace it. again there where conflicts.
delete the ATC-69\HTGTS\Holden\Bob Jane folder
it actually conflicted with another car in the same mod ( same name).
Hope you enjoy this fairly huge mod and thanks for your patience.

I tried to showcase your work...with some disappointing results.
Firstly, the WSC 1970 cars will crash the game at the end of the loading bar with no known fix yet.
Secondly, the mid 70s touring cars will crash the game because of conflicting backfire material animations (notice how the game only crashed when I braked)
*You are also missing sounds for these vehicles (I think it's the HISTORIC / HISTORICAL FIA GT sound folders that are missing, check the base install of Historix or check if all .sfx files have their sounds.)
Thirdly, in good news, the CAN-AM cars work well at least!
Finally, the early 70s and mid 60s touring cars will crash the game because of conflicting backfire material animations (notice how the game only crashed when I braked)
There is still a lot more broken than fixed, but it's a good start that some cars are operational and have their sounds now. I've unlisted the stream so nobody can see it.

I did only test each car individually. My pc won't handle multiple cars ( no GFX card just intel on board atm)
I will double check the sounds. Backfires might take a bit.
On a brighter note Thankyou for taking the time to help out Matt, it is really appreciated. The video is awesome, shame you had so many crashes. I also wonder why that track has a white road. looked ok in my install. I'm not using any shader fx in ams.
Back to the drawing board.

in itself an amazing mod ( I hace GTL aswell ). so yes the sounds are in separate folders.. I forgot about that totally.... If only I had a brain....

My guess is possibly missing/incorrectly assigned materials for the cars. The version before worked fine even if some teams had missing hlglo ds or materials. Check if you are missing commonmaps/liveries/shared files and so on.

The gpl 60's and 67 tracks in the pic above. have removed track double ups that were in the first track pack
I am also upping My Classic tracks I made for RF. Includes 5 historic Aus tracks plus my Taruma and Claremont versions.
