Night replay problem
I love to drive 24h races, mostly TimeScale 4.0 with the full day-night circle in 6 hours.
But viewing the replay, i always see the same daylight as it was at the start time.
Something wrong in my game configuration? Or is it a GTR2 bug?
Thanks for helping.

Re: Night replay problem
Are you saving game then loading it later?

Re: Night replay problem
I don't use replays for these kind of races and since it's a 24H race I keep the timescale as realtime.
EDIT : I just tried a quick race, start at 21:00, a few AI, 2h+ race, made 1 lap, then esc and replay and no problem there then exit race and replay from the replay menu and still no problem there.

Re: Night replay problem
Thank you for your efforts. I made some tests with Timescale 10x. If the start time is in the night, the replay shows the correct nightlight.
But starting at daytime and driving into the night, the replay shows steadily the daylight from the start.
I found a solution, not perfect, but it works.
I start the race in "Race Weekend mode" at 16:00, timescale 4x and after one hour i save and quit the race.
Before loading the race to continue, i go into the Race Weekend menue, change the start time to 20:00 (4x one hour) and then
load the saved race. Drive some laps, save and exit, viewing the new replay and now i can see the correct daylight
for the time 20:00. This has no influence on the time of the ongoing race.
So, changing the start time in the menue will change the shown daylight in replay, no matter, what starting time you had
for your saved race.

Re: Night replay problem
Ahh, just noticed, you saved and exit then played the replay from the replay menu right? If that's the case then I should not be getting CTD, because I was playing the replay during the race.

Re: Night replay problem
That's right. The replay during the race was not the problem i had.
