Just have the windows to do before being ready for release. I'm going to get all the cars done before releasing them in the PWC pack.
GPFan, if you are doing the rF2 release soon, I can send them to you early Just let me know.

Re: EEC GT3 Base v2.2 - Updated January 16 , 2018
I should have this one done a little later today. I'm going to upload this car as a beta as I don't really have a good balance of the shine vs chrome look to the car. Hoping some one with a better eye than I can take a look at it while I then start on the next one

I have the feeling the PWC cars are a bit grayish. Colors can be a bit deeper i think. For example the AER NOW Nissan is more grey than black. It can be your minitor settings.
Try the following with the Black Swan Porsche
Darken the chrome and grey parts
Make the green parts more green, but also darker.
I noticed when I make chrome effects in AMS GT3 cars, I need to make the chrome parts more dark, and the alpha channel also needs to be that light of colour.
Edit, the last tip for the green parts. try to make that also green on the alpha channel and check if that works

For the most part, I'm usually getting my colors directly from the pictures. The straight up black and white I do do a shade that isn't the 0,0,0 and 255,255,255. I know that makes the cars  a bit grey and the not white "pop" other cars usually have. I thought I updated the AER Nissan to make it a bit darker? My monitor/TV is going on me. I've been needing a new one for probably 2 years now LOL!
I think the grey in the previous pic comes from the color of the alpha. Here is a pic using the default aplha channel. Again I'm just trying to find that balance of shine vs chrome. The more shine it gets, the more washed out the colors are. Alpha channels, unless there is a setting that I am missing, are only in grey scale. If I could make it a dark green, that would change the game completely Â

I also never use 0,0,0 or 255,255,255, because it becomes flat than ussualy. Although white is possible. But actually the sticker they print is fully 255 or 0. But because of the sun it becomes grey. But when you use that color of the picture again in the game, where again sun is, it becomes again more grey.

First of all, the pics are the same somehow :S
Again, It is all about the effects. So to get the correct effect in the game, it does mean you need to try something around with it.
Example:
If you use the green from the car from the picture of the real car, than the color is correct when the alpha channel is black, but it is not chrome than, but matte. How white the alpha channel, how more shiny/chrome, but also how more whiter the color becomes. So instead of Green, it becomes minty or light green green you could say.
So to crete the green effect well
- More dark green in the skin itself, together with adjusted alpha channel for the green alone to recreate the correct effects.
This mean that for the different colors on the car, those colours also need similar depths of alpha to.
Green:
- normal layer: more intens green
- Alpha channel: 50% (0 is white, 100 is black)
Grey:
- normal layer: medium grey (50-60%)
- Alpha channel: 40%
Darker Grey
- normal layer: Dark grey, black (80%
- Alpha channel: 40%

Example: Gainer Mercedes
up is old, low is adjusted by me
Hope this exaplains it better.
So the colour might be good originally, but with chrome alpha effect it not becomes ingame.

Now were talking about Alpha channels: when making a car matte, do you guys use 0,0,0 black for the alpha channel? I use something like 13,13,13 or 95% for mine, but the cars then still seem to have some shine to me... Could also be because of me

Re: EEC GT3 Base v2.2 - Updated January 16 , 2018
Just downloaded this car pack and it's awesome - so many recognisable cars and even some I didn't know would be in there. Have only tried a few of them so far but they all look and sound great. It's really impressive how professional they look - it's like they were released by Reiza themselves. Alongside the track pack, this is by far the most comprehensive, expansive and enjoyable Mod I've come across for AMS. Personally, given that I've already paid for a Mod, I would have been happy to pay for something so good as this because it's hard to believe that this is free when taking into account that there are other Mods out there which are less impressive but which require a purchase.
I also like the range of tuning options for the cars. On some of the other cars I've raced (stock or Mod) there are sometimes limited amounts of things which can be tuned, but the cars I tried in this pack all allow for much more freedom. In a way, being thrown in at 'the deep end' is a bit of a headache for someone like me who's still learning about tuning (previous history involved Gran Turismo - which gave some insight, but perhaps wasn't as in depth as a PC sim can be) but hopefully that means I learn better. Think I'll settle on one car and 'git gud' at it.
Looking forward to using this Mod for some online racing with you guys in the near future.
Very happy I heard about The EEC!
Thank you to all who were involved in making these great Mods available

I've never gone complete 0 or 100% for alpha as that just looks bad, same with blacks and whites I am always slightly off.

For the alpha, it depends on the application. If it's full matte, I will go with 0,0,0 for the alpha. If it's regular chrome, I do use the full white. as the grey on the main texture will hide the full shine. If the chrome is a colored chrome, it's a mix. That's what I'm dealing with at the moment.
Jorrit, yes that does help. Looks like I'll have to play around with the colors a bit more

Re: EEC GT3 Base v2.2 - Updated January 16 , 2018
the shine overall dosnt work 100% with just making a alpha layer darker or brighter, the shine is also set by the specular texture you can make the car matte or chrome like with the alpha channel but you cant make it complete matte as you have to make specular color darker too and this you cant
btw on real even a matte car has a shine from the sun and angle you view

All set with the exception of the alpha channel (and the color balancing that will come with that) and windows. Default template alpha shown. I think I uploaded the right picture this time

991 time to fill up the gas
Hi, first of all congratulations for this outstanding mod....
Researching the cars hdv files I realized that the new 991 is set to have 2liters/s when is in the pits filling up the gas and the others are set to 3,4l/s.
Only this issue....
