Anyone having problems this afternoon accessing the site via PC? I'm getting a redirect / phishing page in both I.E. and Chrome. I can access fine in Safari via my phone. Anyone know what could cause this? I'm running a second virus scan on my PC with nothing found on the first scan.

Chris Lesperance confirmed something has happened. Whatever got loaded has also affected my anti virus too ( disabling it).
It somehow loaded via the LMS forum thread link, or was loaded with that download link. It could just be targeting specific IP Addresses? I'll keep everyone advised to what we find.

It is strange Will. It started with a click on our forums. That's what's got me concerned for all of us. Still running scans. Gonna be a long night ugh!

Daniel said in FB this is normal because that's how it works to have a free forum.
So you need to use AdBlock

Thanks guys. Whew! I was worried we got hacked or something. Still seems strange we would allow links to phishing sites though? There's plenty of room for advertising on the forum pages. But that's not in my lane.
My system is back up after reloading virus software which got corrupted (wouldn't update or run on startup). I still think there is a problem with I.E. 11 though so have to look at that. It won't update either so maybe I have to do a complete reload there too.
I'll look into an ad blocker. Which ones are you guys using?

I use Adblock plus
It's not our choice tho, this is Forumotion system, if something is free you don't have much choices about this stuff unfortunately
It's good they aren't using anything that can pass Adblock yet... yet.... some other sites are already doing (like sport stream stuff)

Thanks Will, I'll give it a try.
I had to dump IE 11. There was something corrupted that was keeping my antivirus from running and after 10 hours I'm just too tired to keep looking for it. So I'll go with Chrome more regularly for a while I guess.
Yeah, like I said it's not in my (our) lane on how this works on the site. Part of the issues with generating $.
Have a good day buddy.

Lukasz, thanks bro
