Hi, I need help with a problem...

I'm trying to convert the Marek LMP1 fron Project Cars to GTR2. I extract the files with quickbms and then load the meshes into Zmodeler 2. However, all the mapping seems to be gone from the meshes? When I load textures on them, they appear in a checkered pattern.

I haven't done much with ZM2 before, so I guess I'm missing a step, or need a different plugin than the NFSShift Import? Or is it something else entirely?

Any help will be appreciated!

Well, I converted the other proto of pCars. I know that the mapping works differently than the gmt models.
Howewer, the trick in 3dsimed to correct the mapping, doesn't work on the Marek, while it works on any other model.
So, I think is a problem related to the Marek files.

Ok, thanks... I might take a look at retexturing the entire model then :/

Do you mind sharing the "trick" that works on the other cars?

Gambolmaker, it's not clear from this topic if you found a solution or not but I was having a very similar issue. My textures had an in-game checkerboard effect although they were visually correct in the showroom menu.

I solved my problem after checking my GMT material names. I had forgotten to change the primary car skin material name to 'wc_team_body1_pa'. Perhaps this solution will work for you too..?
