Is the Simbin car not the Evo kit?

another possible car to use the Mercedes 190 Evo 2  from DTM-Classic mod   which was apperenatly used in STCC as super tourer  with the big rear wing, 5 according to entries

the only thing to tweek would be removed smoke and improve the rear lights

Ok, well I have given the M3 the option of the larger rear wing from DTM Classics mod so the HSCC car can be done and what ever other championships use it.

The Mercedes already in the mod can be used and I can add the DTM wing to that either from the DTM mod or there is a Trackaholics version from Shift.

ha ha I was also trying to find some Chinese logos a few days ago I just typed 'random logo' into translate and used that - 隨機標誌

the EVo 2 Mercedes was not just rear wing  , front spoiler and more importantly notice the fenders

the STUPID part here is cannot see from that pic if it's an authentic Evo 2 or just a normal 190 with a big rear wing

Perhaps the 1996 south east asia series can also be done as there is material and most models are available,plus one of the 3 crown shell cars has been painted.

Regarding the BMWs from the 1991 BTCC.I'll send over the cars to include them and then send the full pack once i make the sierra and carina entries to finish the pack

guys, what you call the normal Mercedes 190 is a Evo 1. The one with the bigger rear wing, the bigger front spoiler and fenders was the Evo 2.

Mercedes started in DTM with the normal 190, then came the Evo 1, later the Evo 2 and in the end even an Evo 3, which had the same sort of rear spoiler that the BMW M3 had that was posted by Alexmezza.

I'm quiet a 'specialist' in the Merc 190 had I have a model car collection of all sponsor colours of the Evo 2 that were sold as Minichamps modelcars in the nineties... And I had a normal 190, an Evo 1 and also an Evo 3 to complete my collection. I was very fond of that car with that enormous wing and before I knew it I found myself collecting them all and even driving from Belgium to Germany just to get my hands on the last one missing...

what you might refer to is the 190 Class 1 !!!    which followed the EVo 2, but it was build to Class 1 rules instead of Group A

it's amazing how much competitive the old Group A BMW M3 and Merc 190 are compared to the real super tourers !!

That's the car I was referring to... I know it wasn't called an Evo 3, but I always gave it that name because to me it was the third evolution of the 190 racing car.

STCC in the early days had a class called "Nordic touring" in it. It was meant to make the racing cheaper, by grand-fathering older cars and allowing engines from another manufacturer in a car. One of those Merc's MAY have had a Volvo engine in it. At least one of them had an old 2,5L group A engine in it. Don't know about the BMW. I think the 2,5L cars were outlawed before the 1997 season; Nordic Touring as a formula existed until at least 1998, but don't think any cars were built to that spec in that year. I could look more facts when I get to my old magazines which I have at my parents house (were I'm incidentally is going tomorrow!).

EDIT: actually, after some research, it sounds like it was the opposite about the Mercs: MOST of them had a Volvo engine, one MAY have had an 2,5L engine. They weren't ex-DTM's, but group N cars, built up to group A/DTM spec to match the super tourers.

so perhaps skip STCC 1996 and go directly with 1997 ?

The 1997 and 1998 seasons of the stcc are being worked by Alexander Hederby but i'don't know what he has done so far on these 2 skinpacks

I finished the last year of CIVT 1999. I have also almost finished the euro STC 2000
Tomorrow if I can public both.

I created a section on purpose with a lot of description for the euro STC and CIVT.

I also found material for CIVT 1991 and 1992, but contain the Alfa Romeo 75 and the BMW M3 E30 all present in TCL mods. I do not know if you can enter in the future in Supertouring mod .. if you have the rights

I was hoping to get the new cars released before the weekend but it will have to wait now until next week.  

I've updated the Ford Escort II RS too (for the HSCC 2015 mod) so that it doesn't need so many bits from other mods and I've put in the missing sounds. Its also had a handling update - not realistic but the previous car handled like it was on ice so its got to be an improvement.

I'm not sure if Jsmee is planning to update the pack now we have an Astra and a Mazda (plus the updated M3s and new Sierra) but it will be there should he want to.

Hello everyone, maybe a bit off-topic but I think could help to recreate an "TOCA enviroment" to GTR2. Just replace the orginal Music folder on the main GTR2 folder, or simply add the files.
