Supertouring version 6.4 Updated 06.04.16

The reason I haven't updated the post here is because when I release an update the chances are there are going to be some problems, especially one like this where so many files have been changed. So rather than have to update 2 forums when fixes are needed I wait to see what problems need sorting before posting here.

The BTC mod will also get the shader update, I've removed the old one until its ready.

The templates will be added again once all the new model templates are ready.

The Mitsubishi appeared at the Frankfurt motor show and I think was possibly going to race in STW but never did.

No quick update version..?

Its only the base mod that is updated, tracks and sounds are the same. No quick update as all the body, cockpit and window texture files have been updated.

There is an update for the windows which look much better. (Think this has to do with .GFX files that are outside of the Gamedata files) and new car models for the Hyndai Lantera, Nissan Sentra (I think! I don't recognize what car it is if it's a substitute) Mercedes 190E, VW vento and the Mistubishi Carisma. The Carisma looks to a beta version considering the car has the name "exhibition" on the windows, although I have no idea where it raced if it ever did.

Unfortunately the BTC mod is missing so I cannot use the BTCC 2002 mod yet. Hopefully it will be updated soon And the templates are gone too.
This is a really nice update to an already very nice mod. Thank you to all involved. :-)

Australian Super Touring 1999 skin pack added to the add on skin pack folder:


Info about pack.

All skins made by me, 23 in total.  There is a very limited amount of photos (although more than some series) and a handful of low quality videos but it was just about enough to put together a convincing pack. Artistic licence was taken with a few logos and skins where there was no decent shots from all sides of the car or logos were too small to make out.  This was a tough pack to make, probably around 60 hours in total.

There is a basic championship included - no AI filters or pit stops like with the BTCC seasons and all races are 18 laps.

Also in the skin pack folder there is a file called Test Cars with example .CAR files and a test skin for the 1991 Toyota, Sierra Sapphire and alternative Opel Astra bodies.

so what basically i need to download is 6.0 mod plus the new skinpacks (ATCC 99 + SATCAR,ASTC,CRTC 1995) or i should download again the older skinpacks too?
Just to have a clear idea and don't mess up everything.


EDIT: to be sure since all skinpack were uploaded with same date of the mod, i use the ignorance way and re download all skinpacks and everything was fine.

this mod is awsome.
I gotta ask, as due to its constant improvements sometimes i get confused.
On first post, is that a link containg everything?
I can delete all previous versions and use only the stuff on the link on first post in order to have the latest version featuring the complete mod?

Sorry I should have said, yes the first post always has the latest stuff. The download folder does not change either so you can keep a copy of that link somewhere and just get what you need from there.

Track pack and sounds are unchanged since version 4.

Hello everyone, by curiosity, anyone has problemas with the STW98/99, I´m having CTD everytime I try the STW 98/99 alfa 156???

Try redownloading now, there was a couple of cars with the wrong HDC.
