Supertouring version 6.4 Updated 06.04.16

Not sure whats going on there but its the adfly not the mediafire account. Right click and copy the link, paste it into the address bar and remove the adfly section.

If anyone is using Chrome like me, right click on the link and select "Inspect Element." Youll then get a small panel on the right, with a blue link, right click again and select "Copy Address." Open up a new tab, and paste the link but remove the AdFly part at the beginning. And voila, link should work once again.

It turns out its not just that file or my account and some people are getting it all the time in France according to rgeys at Trackaholics.

Been tweaking talent files, and anyone else have the problem of Rickard Rydell always being quite slow? I've given him same statistics as Laurent Aiello for 1998 and 1999 and he is always near back of the field, at least a second off of Morbidelli at most tracks...

The Volvo is quite oversteery by default so you might want to change its default suspension setup and up the rear wing.

Are you running with only the season specific talent files? If you don't remove the other seasons from the talent folder the game will run the first file it finds, most likely the Rickard Rydell.RCD file for 1994 which will be slower and qualify lower down than any of the other versions.
As it says in the first post the talent files clash, even with default ones (Peter Kox and Tom Kristensen for example) so you have to remove the ones you don't want from the GTR2 install folder completely.

That would explain it, thanks I will try that now. So for instance if it is looking for Jason Plato it will pick the 1997 RCD first regardless?

Think you might be onto something there. I've notived that during my playthrough of the 2000 Season, Menu and Muller are at the front where they should be, but Reid seems faster than he actually was, so I think that his rcd, is that of when he was at Nissan. Same with Rydell, only in his case he's too slow. He's always languishing in about 7th place, which for a season where the Prodrive Mondeo V6's completely dominated, seems very unrealistic. I'll have a play around by removing (temporarily) the other talent folders.

Yeah exactly there is no difference in the naming across the seasons but the ability does change which is why you should only use the specific folder for the season you are racing.
1994 david leslie is much slower than 1999
1995 John Cleland is faster than 1999.

Anyone want me to PM them some alternate BTCC 2001 BTC class talent files? Interested in feedback.

EDIT Since done a 1998 and 2000 set, might upload them here if people do not mind? Watched a bonkers Croft race earlier after I crashed out at Sunny, AI decided to go 3 wide almost every lap in the complex with top 5 cars all together and 6th 7th 8th were 3 wide across finish

I'd love to have a go with those new talent files. Even though they're great now, everything can be improved

Just did a test race at Suzuka in the tail-happy Exiv. Absolutely brilliant job. Been following the progress on RD and it's amazing how fast Satori works.

My friend andreas converted the Sierra Sapphire Cosworth from my friend José Alonso (RBR model). It will soon be available in a future update for GTR Evolution / Race07 then certainly converted by our friend Simon for GTR 2
