was this team Works or just privateer
in STW 94 pack is listed as WORKS but in PROCAR pack as privateer , so how is it ?
and the SEAT in Procar 94 has no category, from what I see should be INDCUP
EDIT the Champion of Procar 94 was from Valier Motorsport so it's safe tos ay this was works team , they also had a big FINA logo which BMW partner at the time
so small update for Procar 94
- both Valier Motorsport BMW as works cars
- SEAT , INDCUP
Did they actually run an independents championship though?
A big deal has been made out of whether cars are listed as works or independent but the only reason the classes exist in the mod is for the scoring in the championships where there is actually an independents cup - BTCC, ASTC and STCC.
South Africa, for example, had works cars and had independent cars but there was no points or prizes for independents so does it matter how they are listed?

Re: Supertouring version 6.4 Updated 06.04.16
I'm currently updating the STW 1994 pack I've made most of the changes suggested by intelpower apart from changing the livery of the #26 BMW
Also I am working on the CIVT cars:
Adding correct colour rear wings for the 1993-94 cars
Removing any 1995 wings from those seasons
Correcting genstring on Alfa 155 where 1995 wing shows on track
Correcting VW Vento cockpit positions (for new LHD car)
I'm also adding another 1994 rear wing option for the BMW that is more like the STW/CIVT wing (more raised than the BTCC version)

well it's for impression and accuracy just like anyone tries to get every single logo on a skin , you have the Audis listed as works cars and they loosing to supposed privateers is not realistic when you see the grid monitor for example, Valier had works backing for sure as FINA was their partners at time,
as said it's just like trying to make thing as accurate as possible
South Africa, for example, had works cars and had independent cars but there was no points or prizes for independents so does it matter how they are listed?
South Africa is a special case , they had only about 3 Independents per season, rest were all works cars
for 94 no 12, 14 BMW and no 10 Cavalier
for 96 just no 12 Audi 80 and no 14, 17 BMW
in STW it's a special case , there is no info on a separate standings but the commentator always mentioned in 95 the battle beteen Philip Peter and Johnny Hauser for best in the privateer standings !!! , he used german word "Wertung" which translates as standings
so there may have been a standing but never shown on TV or results
NATCC for example did have a privateer standings if you see the youtube videos

CIVT Update Released
CIVT pack by Renxo has been updated with changes as mentioned before and below: Its available in the skin pack folder.
Adding correct colour rear wings for the 1993-94 cars
Removing any 1995 wings from those seasons
Correcting genstring on Alfa 155 where 1995 wing shows on track
Correcting VW Vento cockpit positions (for new LHD car)
New 1994 rear wing option for the BMW that is more like the STW/CIVT wing (more raised than the BTCC version)
Corrected the Alfa Romeo 155 1994 style wing to show correctly in showroom.
The 1994 wings for Alfa, Peugeot and Peugeot are all paintable but not mapped so you can only use a single colour. All are defined as CPIT02
Rexno - can I post about the release at Trackaholics too?

probably because they already had a works team in DTM at the time and didn't want to spend money for 2 championships in the same country.intelpower wrote:

Another series that i will be making fixes on and add more cars is the copa de las naciones series(argentinian supertouring series).I have the cars done for all 4 seasons(1997-2000)but updates are needed and i have found pictures of addon cars so the grids are going to be bigger but that's a thing for later

Regarding NATCC 1997 I made a bad discovery
the no 62 Honda Accord cannot be done because it's japanese model, not the european one so no 3D model for it
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
so considering the 2 Dodge and 2 Mazda already in game the list would be just
- 1 Toyota
- 1 Ford Mondeo
- 3 BMW
- 3 Honda Accord
and that's about it !!
MISSING
- Mark Jonak BMW , he did 2 events but no pic
- Pontiac Sunbird, no 3D model
- 62 Honda Accord, no 3D model

that's my point , they already had cars ready, 0 investment developing them, just paying a team to run them
a privateer did attempt to race a Vectra A in STW 95 but failed to start at both Salzburgring and Avus this are the only shots of it

I'd disagree Much more variety in STCC and the edited highlights worked much better than live coverage - the quality onboards in BTCC, STCC, SATCC, ASTC are what makes it so good to watch.

Well, almost complete. There's only one thing left: the Lancer. That'll be version 1.2.

I have the Lancer - do you mind if I add STW 94 to the skin pack folder?

Of course you can add! It'll be a honor to me!
And can you send me the Lancer? In that case i'll put in into the pack, to ver.1.2.

Re: Supertouring version 6.4 Updated 06.04.16
I've added it to the pack and removed the Carina version. There were a couple of talent files that didn't match the names too so I've fixed those too.

Re: Supertouring version 6.4 Updated 06.04.16
thanks
there is a small bug in STW 94, the Belgian Adams Audi should have the 94 spec wing
and the BMW the new big rear wing ?
EDIT another problem , the interior glass was forgotten that's why cockpit is too dark on all cars (minus the Lancer)
now since they all had same banner it would be relative easy to fix
also the exaust smoke on the Lancer...

dont see how its a problem if the same 3d model is used for the japanese and european version. in the first version of the natcc 97 skinpack made in 2012 the #62 accord was included...intelpower wrote:

dunno of the others but I am not a fan of model substitutions
the Japanese/ Australia/ N. America Accord was atotal different car than the european Accord
plus if 96-97 Japanese pack is wanted/ planned that Accord needs to be modeled , specially since the 96 champion was such an Accord

This is not too easy, because if you want do 96/97 JTCC season you must do not only the Accord, you have plan do the Toyota Corolla AE110, Subaru Impreza Wagon, Mazda 323 Familia (Sedan) and Toyota Chaser, Plus make new bumpers and grille for the Nissan P11.
So, think first...
Sorry for my english
Have a nice week

LOL
something I just noticed
no 42 was a "works" car and an ex STW car
they tapped over the rearlights to make it look like an American/Japanese Accord
ahead of it it's the very competitive no 4 Accord who didn't bother with this mess
also didn't notice until now, they had small rear number plates like in Japan

I know ,
I was refering more to partial seasons due to many missing 3D models , if you have to pick just one for 3D model it would have to be the Accord because the 96 and 97 champions drove Accord and it was the car with most number of entries out of missing models
4 entries in 96 , and 4 entries in 97 plus one NATCC one
Mazda Familia just one entry in 96, AE 110 just 2 entry in 96, one in 97 , , Subaru just 1 entry in 96 ...
and also it would be a bit of shame not to exploit the previos modeling work with Nissan Sunny, Toyota Exiv , Toyota Chaser , Mazda Lantis (323F)
