For some time now every time I open zippyshare I get a red screen that not safe web, or, sometimes after a download, the message says it is blocked because of smartscreen filter. Anyone having any of those?

No problem with zippyshare here. I use firefox.

If I don't get red screen I'll have to turn off smartscreen so it doesn't block, that's with using IE11. In google chrome it's going ok, so far. But when clicking download, don't know if there is a way to prevent an ad or whatever it opens in either browser.

Hi,

I use no malware, popup AV or other crap software since DOS

If you try to right click on a zippy link as many other sites it will boot a page.

Simply do not LEFT CLICK never

RIGHT CLICK on the blank white anywhere next to "DOWNLOAD"

Now RIGHT CLICK again and say "OPEN another TAB"
Presto, it will magically boot straight to the download and pass the bs page
( ...that will come up and disappear . other sites it will just open a completelky blank page. hehehe )

You can do the same with any other aggressive pop up site, torrents EZTV etc etc .

Never fails

I will try that method in future updates coming soon and report back. By the way I never left click directly.

Works well most anything you can right click, just some sites are more aggressive EZTV as example right click anywhere it will throw up pages the first time ....but from then if you work the new tabs correct you get nothing but new blank pages or use magnet right click

In chrome only thing i ever changed is download location from C:\ and " and always ask"

Then I use TuneUp to completely disable chrome updates and delete the update folder

I then use the 2 fully tweaked bookmarked chrome folders to drop into any fresh windows and updates can't start.

As you can tell I don't much like browsers or their updates..
