Can we close the registrations for some week? We are under continous attack by some asshole. Let them find a new way to waste their time. I would also delete all of these accounts who registered in the last 5 years and have never posted a single time.

I've banned the users and deleted them as they've popped up but these are coming from years old accounts, not new users. I'm not willing to do any purge of accounts right now, not the first time this has happened either.

Free gmotor mods that are conversions from other games, which makes the things worse as they're making money with 3rd party material.

Well Ive gotten sick of doing this so I've purged all users who had zero posts. Brought us from 12000 users to below 2000 and I've locked out new user registration for awhile. I'll revisit this later when I think it's been long enough.

I know I'm not a prolific poster here, but having been a member for some time and caring about the forums and their competitors posters, I was ready to take the hit for the team*and be refused entry, however, I'm still me and still here so that's even better.
I do hate the bot strikes and have seen forums go down because of them, and I still can't understand why... what is the point? and worse still, what we can do 'save' report and have them purged.
