PROJECT HISTORY:
Back in early 2012 this project got started on the initiative of haunetal1990, who wanted to release his recreation of the Dallara GP3/10 for F1 Challenge 99-02. Back then, the team was called 'haunetal1990 & friends' (which you can still see in the livery files).
Of course, the expansion onto rF wasn't delayed for long and even before the F1C release, a whole team of international modders was recruited (with the help of lotusmania and fisicoF1), hence leading to the name of 'World Sim Team'. For WST followed the release of the 2013-15 GP3 Series mods, aswell as several successful Formula 3 mods, before eventually fading away in 2017.
With the return of several former group members in late 2020, the group rebranded once again to '.Race9 Modding' and thus to the rework and (re-)release of previous WST work under the new moniker.
So don't worry, we're not a group of scammers trying to profit from WSTs work - just the same guys with a new name!

THIS MOD INCLUDES:
- 87 Cars (liveries and 3D files) of 12 Teams from the 2010-2012 GP3 Series seasons
- 53 helmets for almost every driver
- Dallara GP3/10-inspired physics (thanks to Fabiano Machado, 2012 GP3 Series driver, for helping us with the physics!)
- Renault Sport B20F engine sounds
- 2010 GP3 Expansion Pack

It does NOT include tracks, nor driver suits and pit crew liveries.

KNOWN PROBLEMS/ISSUES:
- The AI performances can vary from their real-life performances.
- Please note the mod was originally co-developed for rF1 and F1C, so some parts of this mod might not live up to the
 AMS standards.

Just extract the GameData folder into your Automobilista folder.

BE SURE YOU HAVE REIZAs AUTOMOBILISTA INSTALLED!

- Please note that the 'stock' version of this mod aims to give the most realistic impression possible. For easier modes
 (eg. Traction Control allowed) please check the additional files in the main folder of this archive.
- Please note that the 2010 Expansion Pack comes in slightly different versions for AMS and rF, so make sure to use the
 correct one for your game!

Just to make clear, this is not the final version. There's still a lot to do for AMS, especially the grass & dirt pickup from the tyres and reworked shaders, for example.
Also, the AI behaves a bit odd on braking, which shall be solved in the future aswell (for both verions, AMS and rF1). However, focus is on adapting AMS standards for now.

Time to get 2021 underway properly, this time by publishing the 2010-12 GP3 Series v0.98.5 for AMS!
To give you a quick impression to what's new, here's the current changelog:

v0.98.5 changelog:
- reworked .hdv to add AMS FFB, remove Traction Control and variable gear settings (as it was handled in the real series), instead added two different gear range settings
- added AMS flatspots & pick-up in .hdv & .tbc (effects only) (thanks to Sergiolo!)
- marginally decreased rear grip (thanks to our community for the feedback!)
- added GP3_12_NoAidPenalties.hdv for Multiplayer usage
- added GP3_12_withTC.hdv to re-add traction control
- fixed 2012 #29 Atech CRS GP livery
- completely new car shaders, adapting it further to AMS standards
- reworked .sfx to add AMS standard sounds (rumble strips, etc.)

A late 'happy Easter' from our team at .Race9 Modding, and to give a decent Easter present we've decided to release the 1.0 version of our 2010-12 GP3 Series mods for AMS!

The 2010-12 GP3 mod for AMS just recieved an update! Hopefully this is the last update in a while, so we can finally see this project as 'completed'.

To give you a quick impression to what's new, here's the current changelog:
v1.1:
- reworked all extra liveries to fix MipMap issues
- fixed minor graphic issue caused by .tbc
- corrected Támás Pál Kíss' 2012 default livery (now running the full-season livery instead of the R1 livery)
- corrected/updated several .vehs
- corrected given helmet shapes (if known)
- corrected/updated Williamson 2012 helmet
- corrected all .srs to correct given points (championship mode only)
- changed Expansion Pack structure and added more liveries
- changed damage.ini to let front wings break off easier
- added Monza rearwing (affects physics!)
- added driversuits & helmet templates to release file
