The sounds used are in the DTM v3.5 Mod

This car comes without gdb. If you have any gdb matching the classes DTM, DTM_2000, DTM_2001,
DTM_2002, DTM_CLK_00, DTM_CLK_01 or DTM_CLK_02, you will see the cars in game. Otherwise edit
the line classes in each car file.

I found this AC mod on the internet but when I was trying to contact the original author,
I discovered that they are sistematically stealing free stuff here and there without
permission to sell it so I want to use the same treatment they deserve to anyone.
People like them have destroyed the world of modding and don't deserve my respect.

The original mod had 4 skins and not accurate, so I found on racedepartment some good skin
by Spagna but he/she never replied to my messages so I decided to release the mod giving
credits. Spagna's skins have been edited to be closer to the real liveries and create sister
cars. Every real skin is contained in this mod.

To do: There is no big AMG logo on the front grill. I would like to add it in CPIT02 texture
but I don't have the skills the remap the front grill. The car (like 90% of gtr2 mods)
needs lower lods. This is a task for the community or myself when I learn how to do.

Feel free to update/upload/use parts of this mod.
Feel free to do what you want with this car. Any improvement is welcome.
You can post the link to the cars and/or release them everywhere.

I need community's help. I released 3 mods in the last 2 months but I've seen only 6 skins. I would like to do more but if nobody helps with skins I lose part of my motivation...

I will try to paint something but I will lose precious time that I could use for new mods.

Have you considered that the main skinners in the community might be busy at the moment? This pleading for skins is what a certain individual does on another forum. It doesn't help him over there and it certainly won't help you now. Besides, the car was just released today and you're already expecting 10 skins for it? Learn some patience.

Well should it be the regular skinners doing them? There were people who cried out for kk to do these mods. Now they are quiet. It was kind of a request that he started doing the touring cars after all. I think a lot more people could easily learn how to do skins.

I have sympathy for him.

The GTR2 community isnt near what it used to be as everyone is moving on so I wouldnt expect much anymore.

Clearly I'm not expecting to have 10 skins ready after 1 hour but I'm worried by the lack of skinners because as Sylphide said people are leaving GTR2 modding (mainly because of people like Assetto Garage).

By the way, 3 months aren't enough to ask for help?

I will wait but when you wait and don't ask for a long time, you already know how it will end... Nobody cares about your request, your thread goes behind in the list and you are forgotten.

Are you using the old dtm v3.5 texture as a base? This is exactly what I'm doing. Don't stop. I will continue and I will send you a private message, if I'm faster than you,  to let you choose which is better. If you are faster, I will use your version.

Found one small mistake, the 2000 #5 Mercedes was driven by Klaus Ludwig, not Uwe Alzen.

Will be fixed in next version. Soon we will have every skin. It's matter of days.
