I not Administrator or moderator but you Tonicar don't read the rules? where your real name? first for you to comment negatively have credit in the "EEC" house and you do not have, and read the rules, they are there to be fulfilled and I believe you did not fulfill them, outside the amount of post, I do not have many, but thank you everything they do here and without complaining because I do not know how to do mods.
Sorry for the hype but I dealt with this type of people in another forum and the person was very aggressive in the words and I ended up excluding it.

Re: 2018 Blancpain Sprint Cup V1.0
if my statement was taken aggressively, I'm sorry. But I know what I'm talking about. I myself have created countless Carsets and participated in some mod's. It is always difficult to paint on the basis of pictures etc. Mostly there is no or only inaccurate. When I was doing my VIP Mod Fia GT 1999, I wrote "BOVI Motorsport" in Hungary because of missing footage.
Nobody needs me to teach that.
What is missing in this carset?
1. The # 39 Ferrari 488 - TP12 Kessel Racing (Carlo van Dam / Piti Bhirombhakdi) started every race.
2nd update: additional # 3 WRT Audi R8. Change because of the driver pairing (Adrian DeLeener / Ricardo Feller - modification of the sponsors on the skin)
3. Update: # 6 AMG GT3 - Black Falcon (Luca Stolz / Hubert Haupt)
4. Update: # 751 AMG GT3 - Sun Energy 1 Racing (Kenny Habul / Tristan Vautier)
and the final update is not sure yet but has been called for the Nürburgring. # 333 Ferrari 488 - Rinaldi Racing (Rinalt Salikov / David Perel)
Well, that would be to have no "half-thing".
Nobody needs me to teach that.

Re: 2018 Blancpain Sprint Cup V1.0
if you did some paint jobs by yourself (never heard or saw something made by you anyway)
why not doing it on your own instead of whining around.
Do you know what version 0.9 means???
Did you read anything which is written in the release notes???
come up with your own contribution and help finishing the skinpack or just be quiet and show some respect for the work being done for this racing sim community.
unfortunately there are always guys like you crawling around in forums trying to discredit the work others did.
time to grow up and learn some basic manners!
...please spoil some other forums with your useless posts....

Even if it was not intended aggresively, you could have brought the message in a better way.
In the description I clearly stated that I skipped the #39 for now because it is a damn difficult skin to paint, not the lack of pictures.
Now, at the time of releasing the pack the Hungaroring round hadn’t even taken place, and the #6 and #751 were not shown so I don’t think there is any reason to point that out. On top of that, I have also done a BEC pack so first releasing one skin per car and later coming back for the alternative skins seems logical to me. On top of that, I’m also limited on time in real life... In the meantime, I have done alternative liveries for the #3, #17, #31, #37, #88, some of those you didn’t even mention. I have also done the additional #6 and #751, and the #54 now a model is present, and you can bet that the Rinaldi Ferrari will also follow once I have pics etc. But to go and call a pack a “half-thing” even when you get a near complete championship at the time of release, is just a lack of respect, and especially from somebody like you who has done a lot of skins I would have expected better

At the end of the day, this is all free. It's a beta for a complete championship that is currently happening, all done by people who have other commitments like University or who are employed. The fact that a pack with over 60 skins is being developed alongside this means updates will be slow, and in the case of AudiFan, University is starting/has started so the update rate is going to be slower than over summer.
Just appreciate this free content that very accurately depicts a series in such a fashion that not even 99% of Game Studios do. It's not like it's been abandoned, it will be finished. Some patience is to be reasonably expected here.
Finally, to echo everyone else, version number and description. I guarantee when Assetto Corsa Competizione is released you won't be leaving a review for the developers about not releasing "half-things".
Show respect and appreciate free content and maybe, just maybe, we can all get along hunky-dory.

I had to write Bovi too for 1998. You refuse to release anything and your whole VIP excuse is a load of BS and how its too hard to release because its on separate installs. Dont show previews for stuff you have no intention of releasing and then complain when somebody ACTUALLY RELEASES something that isnt complete when its stated it wasnt yet.
Granted when drr6 and I finish the 97-99 mod no one will need your stuff anyways.

Re: 2018 Blancpain Sprint Cup V1.0
Harm,
I think you can find the #39 car on Ultimate GT3 mod for rFactor and the updated skin you can find on RD on AC car model, if you wanna help, I think these two skins could help you a lot. But I know it's an impossible skin to make, I tried since I started skin and I couldn't make it...

Raphael mate, thanks for the tip! I already have the RD version, but that is for the AC model, and that is (sadly) quite different to the AMS version. I will check the rFactor version though, hopefully that helps! Nothing is impossible, and I noticed some parts on the skin seem difficult, but those are also just parts of the lion, so I think it might be doable once enough time is put into it, to align everything properly. I think this will be a side project over the coming weeks, together with work for uni, and maybe some GT Masters skins, because I started some of those but I'm not yet sure if I want to do (a part) of that championship yet... But we'll see

Yeah, this is the WORST part of skinning, align the car parts properly, I spent minutes making some drawings, and hours align on parts, it's a pain in the ass.
The model on GT3 rFactor model is the same on Automobilista one, I think at least it can helps you with references and positions. You are very very talented my friend, I'm sure with some time and patience you will go it with all glory. I have faith in you my friend Harm.
Take all your time you need.

It's honestly not that complicated of a skin, just doing the chrome effects will suck.

Re: 2018 Blancpain Sprint Cup V1.0
Well, to be honest I found this to be the case. Especially with the "Blue Dragon" being available on FB, and using 3D painting, the sides were easily done. This pic is from yesterday, in the meantime I also managed to finish the rear and on top of the sides at the rear. The front seems to be the more complicated part, but that just needs some time to get it rightSylphide wrote:It's honestly not that complicated of a skin, just doing the chrome effects will suck.

If you already have it than why were you complaining about an incomplete pack?
If you have no intention to help improve the pack or release anything than please don’t hijack this thread.

Re: 2018 Blancpain Sprint Cup V1.0
UPDATE RELEASED
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update v1.0
- Added the #6 Mercedes, #39 Ferrari, #54 Jaguar and #333 Jaguar
- Added secondary skins for the #3, #17, #37 and #88.
- Fixed parts of the WRT liveries
- Added scrutineering stickers on all cars
- Fixed a few logos on both Emil Frey Lexus, and added the lumirank on the banner as seen
in Zolder
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please notice, the new download link will redirect you to RD (just like the Endurance pack), I uploaded the pack there too, so I figured why not link to RD since you have to upload files there separately instead of Mediafire
Have fun!

Re: 2018 Blancpain Sprint Cup V1.0
Absolutely amazing my friend, awesome carset, I think I can play with them here, smaller grid is better to not having FPS problems, I made many many skins for the competition and I didn't race with them...hehehehe...
Bravo again mate, I will enjoy the carset for sure, thank you very much!
