Installing BTCC mods *newbie

This has probably been covered a million times i get that.

But is there a guide anywhere at all? i've tried youtube etc and all i get is videos showing anything but? Sorry to be a pain its probably simple but ive added the files to GTR2 and nothings changed.. i'm pretty new to it cheers

I've downloaded that and dropped it into the GTR folder. loaded the game up nothing. dropped it into game data and tried it. Nothing.

I must be doing something wrong but cant work out what?

first
delete all super touring mod in your GTR2 folder
or reinstall fresh GTR2

second
download base mod (V1.7) and BTCC skin pack (new version)

base sound file
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

third
- open sound 7z and put sound file in your GTR2 sound folder
- openbase mod 7z file
put SSTR shader pack (sstr shader folder)and sstr_shaderpack.gfx file
in location where GTR2 exe here. ****
put sound file in your GTR2 sound folder
put gbd file in your GTR2 gamedata folder
put all file in 7z team folder in your GTR2 team folder
- open BTCC skinpack 7z
put championship file in your GTR2 championship folder
put talent file in your GTR2 talent folder
put btcc gbd file in your GTR2 gamedata folder
then put all file in 7z team folder in your GTR2 team folder
done

I got as far as the sound 7z bit and got lost. Think i'll give it a miss, clearly isnt for me!

Wish there was a better way for the simple minded lol..

V2.0 in works and 80% done, be a much simpler install process mate, just hang on a bit longer Wink
