Super Touring World - WIP skins & discussion

I have a ton of photos both from the Yugoslavian and the Serbian series. I do plan to make the Yugoslavian series as it was an active series even if it had small grids. Besides that there were also supertouring cars running in Poland from 1996 to the early 2000s(albeit 1-2 cars only) and then there was the Malaysian Championship which in 1996-1997 had the petronas mondeos running there aswell as a few guest entries from the SEATCZC.
To summarize i do plan to make all the active series even those like the yugoslavian series. They just need time. Eventually i'll do them all.

Thank you for the kind words!! Yes these are the 2001-2002 seasons. There's a missing BMW in these previews that i just found out about....but its in the works
You should expect the full 1996-2002 seasons of this series...and later once the 90's championships are done, the Serbian series(2003-2012) will follow.

do you mean the #7 bmw from kastro? i think that from 2003 just like the #9 peugeot from 2001.

Nope its a BMW driven by Muharem Bilal. At first i thought he only raced in 2000 but he also ran in 2001 until he blew his engine.

So...the final car for 2001 is done. Interestingly this is the same BMW that was ran in the 1995 by Rocco Peduzzi and then by Misel Zupancic in the Central European series in 1997-1998 and the local Slovenian Series until 2000.

The Slovenian series will be joining the mod...just need to find a couple of remaining entries. Malaysian series will be joining aswel....easily claiming the title for smallest overall ST cars(just 5 cars for 2 seasons)

what about Norvegian series ? at least that had proper grids and variaty

All in the right time...90s stuff comes first...

I agree 90s stuff is the most important


but the Norvegian  series is IMO a bit more improtant than this other stuff even from hisotric view , no matter how anyone tries to spin it it was the last proper ST championship with 10+ grid and proper race tracks and from what i remember it's is not far from being finished either

Yes its always upto the skinner/modder what they work on and when its ready to release.

Markano is not one of those always promising something thats never released.

I am hoping that these new/updated series will be part of a bumper update for the ST mod soon.

Well here's the list of the 90's series that are planned. I can't confirm exactly when they'll be done but college won't take much time from February onwards meaning i'll be able to make skins at my usual pace again.
Here's what you can expect:
1993-1995 NTCC
1996-2001 CIVM(Italian Hillclimb series- this is part one of the pack with the second part being included in the post ST era)
1996-1997 Malaysian Touring Car Championship(1996 is done)
1997-2000 Belcar series(again like the CIVM it will be part one of two)
1993-1997 Spa 24h(a pack that has been in WIP for years now)
1995-1999 Slovenian Touring Car Championship
1996-2002 Yugoslavian Touring Car Championship(2002 and 2001 are completed)
1995-1998 Australian GP Support
1995-1996 Gold Coast Supertouring cup
A rework is planned for the CEZ series aswell as the Croatian series as i have found some more material.

Finally 2 new seasons will be added to the Swiss series, those being 1993 and 1999.

Well the class was called Nordic 2 litre class so they are definately early supertourers...the NTCC spec cars than ran in the STCC in 1996-1997 are also completed by Suti and me. But the STCC will be taken care of later...for now i wish to work on other skinpacks plus time is limited so it will take a while....

if the STCC  M3 are done the 190 Evo 2 should be no problem as there  is already a accurate model in GTR2  and can share same ENG physics and sounds like that M3

I think the 190 Evo 1 could be 3D edited from  he 190 Evo 2 ,   smaller wing and wheel arches are main difference


here is what I disocvred at Knurstorp 97  the Evo 1  Valvoline 190 did race  but no idea who drove it or his race numeber   but race livery looks same as 96    ,

I did 1996 evo 2 mercs on dtm classics model and I wrote to Sweden and got results of 1997 knutstorp event and the name of mercedes driver. Another smaller 3d update would be big rear wing for ntcc sierra which was raced in 1995-1997.

awesome  , from the DTM Classics also needed the M3 Sport Evo  wihich had the big rear wing and wheels  for one of the entries

there was a small confusion of the STCC 96 Valvoline Mercs, initially the main driver started with the Evo 1 and then switched to Evo 2

after the switch   , sister car  Evo 1 was driven with no 32  by  Bengt Winqvist  in one event so in one race you had both Valvoline 190



small thing , please remove the exaust  smoke lines on the car   files , DTM Classics for some reason implement them


the SIerra also had some skirts at the bottom but rear wing would probably be enough to differentiate them from suepr tourer SIerra
