New AMD drivers (Crimson)

Take care guys... after an hour driving I now saw there is a bug and fans are set to manual so you'll have your card running @ 100ºC if you don't check this out

good that i still use the latest catalyst beta

For some reason they kept the fan setting in the overclock menu set to manual. Hope it won't set back to manual all time, it is not saving game settings so I'm using Radeon Pro still

Have a crossfire of two HD 5850 1024mb and I switched to the new drivers package too. For now, stille searching how to configure correctly all this s*** of AMD hardware and software well together for tomorow lol


Fortunatly, just have to wait 2 or 3 Weeks max to get my new NVIDIA card. After that good bye farewell AMD ^^

installed crimson today and have no problems everything is working fine

Be sure to check the fan settings when you leave a game or restart your PC, that's when it goes to manual

amd announced now that theres a problem on the current crimson drivers what causes the problem will told on his post... the driver is setting the fan to 0 instead of auto

they also announced that there will be a fix to solve this problem today

new beta driver available

I'll wait a bit more. Some people are now reporting their cards are downclocking with no reason. Don't want to have a risk of this happening during a race.
