GTR evo hud for GTR2 ???

What I was thinking today .
Is it posible to make a GTR evo or RACE07 HUD working in GTR2.
What you get is a nice new hud in GTR2 (looks more up to date.)
Any of you racing fans ever try this before.
PS are there new huds anyway for GTR2 accept those of zkarz at nogripppp.

u run with hud on? i changed my to nothing... i use a clean motechud.dds and the flags are the only thing is showing...

if i run on lmp i use philippes helmet view...

every car have a motec so why use hud?

I use because of the flags. How you make them appear? Can I edit the position they appear in the screen too?

dont know... i cleaned all numbers and letters on the files and made a blank motechud.dds so u have a complete clean vision... i just let the flags on the files so when theres a yellow they appear on its normal place... i dont know if u can change the position of the flags

I wonder if the HUD van GTR evo can be build in GTR2.

I think that if you extract the tga/dds (or whatever files they are) from their original gtr-evo .gtr file (I don't have race or evo, so I don't know the name of the .gtr file where the hud is) and you rename them as their GTR2 counterparts, the job is done.

I give up. it didn't work out I think that the hud converting from Race07 to GTR2 is not posible.
I think i contact izukon for his hud.

As Daniel said, what's the point of HUD in GTR2? I never use it...

whats dont working? overall to change a hud is easy u can add textures u want... all u need is to edit the motechud.dds file....


i will install my gtrevo and check the files...

GTR2 motechud.dds it's so different than of Race07.
In Race07 it's build up in tag. files.
But I hope can you figure it out.

but make a hud like the one from ur vid is easy to do, just repaint ur existing motechud.dds... if u want another font color/font style u have to change the files in ur uiassets.gtr

u also can change the symbols for fuel warning, temp warning ........ and so on...

Yep I know how to change That thats not so hard. Fonts and icon's
But a rev needle on the right side what you call it is very difficult. (HUD)
Maybe we can try it from GTL to GTR2 lets try that.
