Turn automatic topic watching off?

Couldn't find a better place to ask this... is there any way to turn of the topics I've posted in being watched automatically? I know there's an option to deselect watched topics manually, but there seems to be no way of turning it off by default...
I like getting notifications about some topics, but not about all of them... kinda annoying. And in my experience, there usually is such an option somewhere.
Do I need new glasses maybe?

That turns them all off though. Like I said, I do like some notifications... I guess what I want is a button that says "watch this topic" and then only that topic gets watched, not all of them.

Or maybe I'm just being difficult?

Its on every thread, right lower corner "watch topic for replies"
