Mobile race games

I'm wondering who plays these type of games and what's your experience? It's just for fun of course as these games doesn't have any good simulation in it.

I play RealRacing 3 quite often in my coffee breaks, and it got my attention that it futures a variety of cars. At good looking tracks the fun factor for this freeware game is quite high.

So I thought I look a bit further in this mobile gaming world, but not tried those games:

With cars like BMW 125i BTCC, Mercedes A-Class BTCC, BMW 330D TopGear car, Mercedes CLA 45 AMG race car and many more. (I was surprised to see those models around)

- Asphalt 8: Airborne

Lots of cars to choose from. Audi R8 LMS, Camaro GT3, Mustang FR500 GT3, ... and several classics

Several race cars like Caterham SP/300R, Camaro GT Rolex Grand-AM, CTS-V Coupe, Audi R18, Bentley EXP Speed 8, SLS AMG GT3, Megane Trophy 3, VW Golf 24, ...

So lots of interesting cars for free but unfortunately only for coffee breaks. So what's next?

I had something saved on my ipdad, it was for work though and I don't have it anymore. It looked ok, but didn't hook me.

I spent a fair few hours on Gran Turismo PSP, it was cool, but had some handling issues and only 4 cars.

I also play a free comp management game. You had practice and had to set up the car and state your tactics. It was quite nice, but way too random I think.

Had a look at a couple of those adverts, kinda funny.

The drag racing one said '100s of tracks!' well er.....they're all straight after all.

And the GT one said 'Authentic racing' as a road car sped across a 100 metre high bridge with a Bentley Spd 8 in it's slip steam.

Made me laugh anyway

Yeah it's for enjoyment. But I'm wondering why they used so much racing cars and also cars that are quite special for games like the BTCC cars in RTM. Would love to see more of those unique cars in PC games.
