[RELEASE] FIA GT 2000-2002 Mod reworked

2002 FIA GT at Estoril

I took a few laps a Estoril in the #1 Viper

Those two cars in front of Me are Vipers too, and the Ferrari was consistently lapping 2 sec. faster (it should be only 1 sec. faster)

Here's what they did in real-life

Edit these values in Calderarì's .rcd file:
CorneringAdd=1.6
CorneringMult=.965

I'd say the following values should be enough:

CorneringAdd=1.5
CorneringMult=.935

I found the name in the original GTR2 talent GT folder (there's no talent folder for this FIA GT mod)

All of the numbers are like this

CorneringAdd=1.000
CorneringMult=1.000

So I lowered the "CorneringMult" to 0.965

Was there supposed to be a talent file for this mod ???

No, I didn't include my rcd files for the drivers which are already in the game, to not create conflicts.
Btw, Calderari was a gentleman, so the SimBin guys gave him too much strenght it seems. I brought it to the values of 1.6 and 0.965 ages ago, so that I forgot about it, and thought those were the default values lol

Does anybody have the problem with rear wing in PSI & AP 996 Bi-Turbos?

Awesome work on the Diablo. Always loved this mod, mainly because the Turbos are actually competitive.

That one is a Speed12... it never raced in the series

oh... i thought it raced in gt1 class in 2000

Only in British GT

In FIA GT that car couldn't race (sadly)

Now this mod is in the public section, so everyone can enjoy it

A great mod made even greater by Fabrizio. So good in fact, I'm now doing a mega offline 2000 season, using this mod, FF94's ALMS 2000 mod, LMRT/PerfectDark Le Mans 2000 car sets and finally BTCC 2000 in the Supertouring Reloaded mod. All races at the correct length so you may not hear from me for a while! But nonetheless, I have these great mods to thank for it!

I added the light fix to the "teams" folder (gamedata/teams) and the 360s, lotus elise, Porsche GT3 R and Porsche GT3 RS still don't show up in my car selection screen. I obviously must have done something wrong here. Can I get an idea on how to make the cars work?

Ok, figured it out. I put the light fix in the appropriate car folders and the cars showed up like they should.

Found another issue. In the 2001 series, the Wieth Ferrari 550 won't move on the grid....if you do a rolling start it starts in 6th gear doing 10mph....Appears to have the right engine file, so of course I am lost and I don't understand the technical side of the sim.

Thank you for the reply GT Fan 8899. I checked the car file for the Wieth 550 and it is correct (Wieth550_01.hdc) and the hdc file is in the ferrari folder. I tried the car with it being the only car and when the race starts it just sits with its brake lights on, no movement at all. I tried all the other 550's in the mod and they run as advertised.

I think I might have found the issue. Looking at the Wieth HDC file the engine listed isn't in the game. I checked the Prodrive HDC and the engine is in the folder. I searched for the Wieth listed engine in my entire GTR2 folder (F550_V12_00) and there isn't that file anywhere. Can I substitute and engine for one of the other Ferrari 550 teams to the Wieth HDC file?
