One small logo to finish this car, looks nice?
*It's a CLK-LM instead of the real CLK-GTR.
BTW I don't understand how one of the most iconic GT race cars ever still don't have decent version for GTR2 or rFactor
the CLK GTR was initially started out for GTR2 but released in Rfactor 2 https://www.bsimracing.com/rfactor-2-mercedes-benz-clk-gtr-released/

There's a decent model in the Le Mans 1998 mod, because for some reason they used a GTR instead of an LM

Last update on this W.I.P. was on June 2016.
Number 10 is done too with the same small logo missing on #11 car.

Number 12 car will be harder so I will need extra time to finish it.

I don't wait on anything of his as he previews stuff for awhile that never gets released then will release something out of the blue that nobody has seen.
I'm still waiting on that Saleen that'll probably never get done.

Re: FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]
Regarding GT1's of the era, some excellent models from RR3 are available in the WIP section at trackaholics. The author says it's incomplete, but IMHO, they're a lot closer to being 'done' than most mod conversions, certainly on the graphics side with 5-6 LOD's, breakable body parts and very cleanly organized cas/tex/obj file structure. The templates they come with are great too.
Currently they use borrowed physics and have RR3 (low-res) skins, but you guys can probably do your magic with the paintjobs. I'm using bastardize physics (combo of GT500 and WSGT) for my own installation, which is fun to drive and results in the same lap times as the '98 FIA GT visit to Laguna Seca, so it's enough for me.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I'm pretty sure F302's WIPs are from the same source so when he releases his cars, you can switch skins over if you want.
(The Toyota in the background is F302's released here.)

Yep, these are both same models, just the one from LM 1998 mod have some better materials settings.
On the other news, I looked on some other sites and found a CLK GTR mod for GTA San Andreas. After some fight with Zmodeler I managed to make a fast convertion to GTR2. Model is working fine, only problem is that model is very heavy and don't have LODs. The biggest number of CLKs in one race was 4 so I hope it won't have very big impact on fps.

On the beginning of 1998 season, two factory team cars and two from Persson.

Also of the Mustang, I think I've found the model f302 was using:

If you want to do a quick conversion yourself (It doesn't look like it has the 1998 Cirtek wing though)

Well If unless someone else does I'm not going to paint the Persson cars on a different model. The skins i have for the GMT version are pretty good already and they were from nogrip so who knows where you could even find them again.
If you swap the rims and the entire cockpit from the GMT car I might think about it. But you'd have to convince drr6 to aswell lol.
Also please somebody take a look at that Mustang. Maybe Jeracer could make the Cirtek wing and i could try to map it onto the template.

Re: FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]
Well, I prefer the GMT model because it looks better than this CLK and there is only one car left to paint.
I would work with this model only if after some rework the car looks like a GTR2 car and not an F1C car, otherwise, it does not make sense. I understand that needs extra time but this is a great mod and needs a minimum of quality, especially if we are talking about the best car ever in this championship

Great work on this mod guys! Just loded GTR2 again and really enjoying it!
One problem I've noticed is that I am missing the stock GT1 Lambos.
Sorry if ths has already been mentioned.

I'll see what I can do with this car. I can try and use a cockpit from this model because it's in very high quality.Sylphide wrote:If you swap the rims and the entire cockpit from the GMT car I might think about it. But you'd have to convince drr6 to aswell lol.
For today I managed to remap windows, so I call it a success Tomorrow I'll try to remap rear wing and splitter.

I hate this dumb car....slowly chipping away section by section. Im pretty sure this car has a asymmetrical livery but I only have photos of one side so its a symmetrical livery now lol
